Hello everyone!
I'm sharing a spontaneous purchase story today. A colleague at work recommended this product to me, and she was actually suggested it by a dermatologist-cosmetologist due to skin issues. I have similar problems, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered it the same evening, by the way, and I'm pretty sure my colleague never ended up buying it.
So, let's talk about the CLEAN+ Vitamin C face cream.
Where I bought it: Ozon.
Price: 749 roubles (November 2024).
Volume: 50 ml.
First impressions.
The cream arrived in a cardboard box with a light design. It's simple and gets the job done.
Unfortunately, there were no free samples. The box has all the necessary information about the product, which is a nice touch.
The font is small, but easy to read. The packaging isn't overloaded with information, which makes it simple to find what you need.
The packaging is spot on, and the dispenser bottle looks just like the box it came in. It's a nice touch that adds to the overall experience.
The dispenser top closes with a protective cap that stays put until the last drop of cream is gone. It's a great design feature that prevents waste.
The dispenser works like a charm, but it does tend to spit out a bit of product. I got used to it, and it didn't cause any discomfort. However, you do need to prime it before the first use, which is mentioned in the insert.
The insert also has a QR code in case something's not right with the product. It's a nice touch that shows the manufacturer cares about customer satisfaction.
Scent.
The smell is floral and sweet, but it's not overpowering on the skin. It's a nice, subtle scent that's easy to get used to.
Texture and color.
The cream is a nice, thick white color. I'm running low, but I think it's going to be hard to get the last bit out of the bottle due to its design.
Ingredients.
I was a bit skeptical about the ingredient list, but I was curious to see how it would work. Here's what I found:
AQUA, VITIS VINIFERA (GRAPE) SEED OIL, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS (SWEET ALMOND) OIL, GLYCERIN, HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES (SEA BUCKTHORN) FRUIT OIL, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, LECITHIN, ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, XANTHAN GUM, CAFFEINE, METHYL DIISOPROPYL PROPIONAMIDE, TOCOPHEROL, PANTHENOL, 3-O-ETHYL ASCORBIC ACID, VACCINIUM MYRTILLUS (BILBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT, SACCHARUM OFFICINARUM (SUGAR CANE) EXTRACT, CITRUS AURANTIUM DULCIS (ORANGE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS LIMON (LEMON) FRUIT EXTRACT, ACER SACCHARUM (SUGAR MAPLE) EXTRACT, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PARFUME, BENZYL SALICYLATE, HEXYL CINNAMAL, LINALOOL.
The product claims.
It's supposed to make my skin look perfectly smooth, even, and radiant. Vitamin C is supposed to regulate melanin production, reducing the appearance of dark spots and giving my skin a healthy glow. It's also supposed to energize my skin, nourishing every cell. Vitamin E is supposed to fight oxidative stress and slow down aging, while the bilberry extract is supposed to calm and strengthen my skin, protecting it from negative factors.
How to use and store.
Apply a small amount of the cream to my clean skin, then massage it in until it's fully absorbed.
I stored it in the bathroom, and it's good for 3 years. I made sure to keep it out of direct sunlight and heat sources.
My thoughts.
I have combination skin, which can get a bit flaky and break out in post-acne marks. I used it twice a day, which happened to be during the winter months. The cream glided on smoothly and absorbed quickly, without leaving any greasiness behind.
I didn't experience any allergic reactions or inflammation. It's a great product for sensitive skin like mine.
Regarding the product claims.
It makes my skin look perfectly smooth, even, and radiant. I have to agree - my skin did look great and feel amazing after using the cream. I didn't need to use a toner or powder during this time.
Reducing the appearance of dark spots. I think this is the effect I was most hoping for. The spots did become less noticeable, but it's a long-term process. Don't expect miracles from one cream - you need a comprehensive approach.
Slowing down aging. It's hard to tell, but I'm hoping it does.
Really calms and firms up the skin. I used it with a serum and toner from other brands, and there were no conflicts – it worked like a charm.
The Verdict.
I'm really happy with this cream – it tackles the skin issues I wanted to solve, doesn't clash with other products, and is budget-friendly. It's a great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with similar skin concerns.
