Chesterfield Blossom Falls Flat - A Disappointing Experience

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've gotta say, Chesterfield Blossom is a total letdown. I picked up a pack for 149 rubles at Perekrestok, expecting a smooth, enjoyable smoke. But what I got was a harsh, unpleasant experience that left me feeling jittery and anxious. The build quality's not bad, but the flavor's just not there. It's a shame, really, since I was hoping for a solid value for money. But sadly, Chesterfield Blossom's not worth the hype - or the health risks. I'm not a fan of the harsh flavor, and the health risks are a major concern. Overall, I'd say Chesterfield Blossom's a disappointing experience.

I've heard it time and time again: smoking's bad for your health. But smoking Chesterfield Blossom takes it to a whole new level - it's not just your body that suffers, it's your nervous system too.
I can attest to that personally.
Sigars Chesterfield Remix blossom
KEY FEATURES:
Number of cigarettes in a pack: 20;
Country of origin: Russia;
Price and where to buy: these aren't exactly new, so you can find them at pretty much any gas station or supermarket.
I picked up my pack at Perekrestok for 149 rubles.
PACKAGING:
Chesterfield's branding is pretty loud, and the Remix Blossom packaging is no exception. On the one hand, it grabs your attention on the shelf. On the other hand, it looks a bit tacky and tasteless.
The main information is all on the end caps.
And on the bottom, you've got the quality control stamp and the price per pack.
Under the lid, you'll find a nice white membrane with the Chesterfield logo embossed on it.
EXTERIOR DESIGN:
I'm not a fan of the filter - it's a bit strange and not very comfortable to use. The walls are super thin and soft. Smoking with this filter is, at the very least, a bit of a hassle.
I was also disappointed by the amount of tobacco particles in the filter, which suggests a subpar packing job.
But the packing isn't just evident from the tobacco in the filter. The cigarettes are extremely prone to crushing and deforming.
In other areas, it's business as usual for Chesterfield: crisp white paper and a vibrant capsule image.
My Impressions of Chesterfield Remix Blossom
The name 'blossom' is a translation of the English word for flowers. I was curious to see what kind of flowers they'd infused into the capsule and how they'd taste.
First things first, I decided to take a sniff of the cigarette itself and was left feeling a bit perplexed - it smelled like cheap women's perfume, à la Avon. The scent wasn't overpowering, but it was definitely noticeable.
I was intrigued, so I decided to give it a go.
I took a few puffs without breaking the capsule, curious to see if the 'premium tobacco' on the pack would make an appearance.
In my mouth, there was a light bitterness and sweetness. But there was no tobacco flavor, let alone premium tobacco. It gave me a bit of a burning sensation in my throat, but it wasn't from the strength - it was more like some kind of chemical.
The capsule itself is weird. It's definitely unique - I've never seen anything like it. In my mouth, there's a pronounced sweetness and a real perfume flavor. Maybe people who used to drink cologne back in the day would know what I'm talking about.
For me, it's like smoking cheap perfume. It's really not something I'd get used to, and it's actually kind of unpleasant.
After a few puffs, the flavor started to take on a soapy quality. Smoking liquid soap is even weirder than perfume.
I have to admit, these cigarettes do burn quickly. I'm not a heavy smoker anymore, maybe a few cigarettes a day, and mostly for company rather than nicotine addiction. So, one cigarette is more than enough for me.
But I can see how a regular smoker might not get their fix with just one of these.
I smoked two Chesterfield Blossom cigarettes just to write this review. The rest I gave to my husband - he didn't like them either, but he'll smoke anything. However, he told me not to buy them again, and I agree with him.
Another thing that really bothered me was the aftertaste. There's this weird bitterness in your mouth that doesn't go away even after drinking water or eating a piece of candy.
All in all, these cigarettes are a total disappointment.
Maybe It's Just Me
I was expecting a lot more for the price, but it's clear that this isn't premium tobacco. I only bought these because of the capsule, and now I'm really disappointed with it.
My taste buds are shocked - one star and a thumbs down. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in the next review!
