Cherehapa Website

I've tried a bunch of platforms that promise the moon, but Cherehapa Website is the real deal. It's super easy to use, and they've got a ton of online services that'll make your life easier. Whether you're looking for a community to connect with or need help with everyday tasks, they've got you covered. I've been using it for a while now, and I'm hooked - it's a great place to find like-minded folks and get things done.

A Bad Experience with Cherakhapa Travel Insurance: My Purchase Story

summarizeEditor's Summary

I bought travel insurance from Cherakhapa thinking it'd be a hassle-free experience, but boy was I wrong. Their platform is easy to use, but the policy details and coverage left a lot to be desired. I'm sharing my story to help others avoid the same pitfalls. Cherakhapa's website is user-friendly, but the lack of transparency in their policies and the limited coverage options made me question their value for money. I'm not gonna lie, I expected more from a reputable insurance company. If you're looking for a reliable travel insurance, I'd recommend exploring other options. One thing that did impress me was the speed at which the policy documents were sent out - it was almost instantaneous. However, this convenience was overshadowed by the frustration of dealing with the confusing price changes and limited coverage options. I'm not sure if I'd recommend Cherakhapa to anyone, especially considering the lack of transparency in their policies and the limited customer support availability.

Travel insurance is a must-have, folks. If you don't want to break the bank on medical bills in case something goes wrong, you need it. Choosing the right insurance company can be a real pain, but Cherakhapa's online service makes it a breeze. With their platform, buying travel insurance takes just 7 minutes. My husband and I bought our policies there, and I'm about to share all the downsides that came with it.
My Experience with Cherakhapa Travel Insurance
Cherakhapa's website is super easy to use - just fill in your country, age, trip duration, and (!) tick the box if you're already traveling. That's a crucial point, as I'm currently working in China and heading to Thailand for a break, and if I hadn't ticked the box, the policy wouldn't have worked. And when you do tick the box, note that you need to get the policy within 6 days of the insurance period starting. This is in case someone tries to get one after the event.
What's Covered by the Insurance
To speed things up, you get a standard policy that includes emergency medical assistance, hospital or outpatient treatment, emergency dental care, medication, and a flight back home if needed. You can also add coverage for accidents, trip cancellations, and lost luggage. Seven minutes, payment, and wait for the policy to arrive in your email. Speed and a user-friendly interface are definite pluses.
Insurance Options
I was really impressed that Cherakhapa offers a ton of insurance options, including 13 different providers: ERV, Liberty, Alpha Insurance, VTB, Zetta, Ingosstrakh, Opora, Renaissance, Reso, Rosgosstrakh, Russian Standard, Soglasie, and Tinkoff Insurance. And the best part is that the policy price will be exactly the same as if you bought it directly from the chosen insurance company. Sounds great, but in the end, Cherakhapa only offered us two electronic travel insurance options for our 12-day trip to Thailand:
SK Renaissance for 2165 rubles with 50,000$ coverage and a 50$ deductible Alpha Insurance for 2534 rubles with 50,000$ coverage and no deductible
But where was my beloved ERV, especially since they're listed as a partner on the main page and I know they work in Thailand because I've bought policies from them before? Unfortunately, ERV wasn't an option, which I'm counting as a minus.
Technical Issues
Also, when buying the policy, we initially saw a lower price, but when we went to pay, the website crashed and after reloading, it showed a higher price. The tech support team responded quickly, apologized, and explained that the lower price was an error. They even gave us a coupon with a promo code for a discount on our next policy purchase, but they didn't change the price. So, as they say – we found some silver linings, but the aftertaste remained.
Official Cherakhapa Website
When buying a policy, you always have three reliable options.
I won't dwell on the first one, as it's just buying from the insurance company's website, which isn't what I'm looking for in an aggregator. By the way, I had a setback at this stage because ERV, which I usually buy from, doesn't cover people who are already traveling.
The second way turned out to be super handy, as I was digging up the necessary info on ratings and insurance reliability, and I stumbled upon a module that lets you calculate insurance costs and even buy a policy from official partners of Cherakhapa. The service worked quickly, and I got my insurance from SK Renaissance via email within 15 minutes of payment.
You can also use the Cherakhapa website itself, and it'll be just as fast, since the payment and calculation module is the same (you can see the mobile version on the screenshot).
What's worth noting is that in all three cases, the policy price will be the same (give or take a few cents, as all calculations are dynamic), so you can opt for whatever method is most convenient for you, keeping in mind the pros and cons I tried to outline as thoroughly as possible.
Have a great vacation!
Conclusion
Overall, my experience with Cherakhapa was a mixed bag. While their website is user-friendly and the insurance options are plentiful, I encountered some technical issues and was disappointed by the lack of ERV as an option. However, the tech support team was responsive and helpful, and I appreciate the convenience of being able to buy insurance from multiple providers in one place.
As with any insurance purchase, it's essential to do your research and carefully review the policy details before making a decision. I hope this review has been helpful in giving you a better understanding of Cherakhapa's travel insurance offerings.
Happy travels!
