Editor's Summary
I was really stoked to try out the Ceramed Ultra-Hydrating Lip Balm, especially considering its super affordable price point. Unfortunately, my experience with it was a major letdown. The balm's design is definitely eye-catching, but its performance fell way short of my expectations. I used it for a week and was bummed to find that it didn't provide the intense protection it claimed to offer. The thin texture is also a bit of a turn-off, and I found myself reapplying it way too often. If you're in the market for a new lip balm, you might want to look elsewhere. For one, the protection it offers is nowhere near as intense as it claims to be. The thin texture is also a bit of a problem, making it hard to apply evenly. Plus, it's incredibly easy to apply too much and end up with a greasy mess. To top it all off, the product doesn't last very long, even with moderate use. Overall, I'd say it's just not worth the hype.

The Ceramed Balm That Promised the World, But Fell Flat - A Disappointing Alternative
I recently decided to give this brand a try after they revamped their packaging, and I ended up ordering a bunch of their products. At first glance, everything looked pretty appealing and promising, especially considering it's a budget-friendly option like Clean Line and Himalaya.
I have to admit, I was drawn to the design initially, and it does have a certain feminine and pharmaceutical feel to it.
Unfortunately, nothing I've tried so far has impressed me, and I'm not surprised I thought of Himalaya.
Ceramed Ultra-Hydrating Lip Balm
Description and Features
Produced in Russia Volume - 13 ml.
Thin lip skin can quickly react to environmental factors and changes in the body, so it needs special care and attention. This lip balm claims to provide intense protection and prevent cracks from forming. It's supposed to nourish and effectively protect lips in cold, windy, and dry weather 24/7, and also promote skin regeneration.
Some of its properties include:
Restoring the skin's barrier function
Protecting lips from wind, cold, and sun
No fragrance.
It's suitable for sensitive, very dry, and prone to irritation skin.
You can find it on all major marketplaces, perfume and cosmetics stores, and pharmacies. I managed to snag it for 95 rubles using my bonus points at Laughtal, which is a pretty sweet deal.
The product comes in a standard box, and the tube itself is typical for this type of product. However, I found the design to be a bit inconvenient to use, as the liquid contents tend to spread.
One of the few things that caught my attention was that this balm has no scent or taste, and the texture is more like a liquid than a thick cream. However, at first, it's quite dense, but then it becomes this weird, watery consistency that's impossible to apply evenly.
The finish is glossy, but there are no sparkly particles. It's not sticky, and the amount used is average.
If you're curious about the ingredients, Vaseline is the first one listed.

My Experience with It
I have super dry lips, and after using retinol, they got even worse. I'm on the lookout for a good lip balm, and I've tried a lot of different ones. I was hoping this one would deliver on its promise of being nourishing and protective.
Unfortunately, that's not exactly what I got.
Before using
The Ceramed balm is super runny, and when I squeeze it out, it spreads all over the applicator like a vegetable oil. Sometimes it even drips off, so my tube is always sticky.
It feels like a greasy layer on my lips, with no moisture or density, so the balm wears off quickly, leaving my lips dry again. One weird thing is that if I have chapped lips, this balm doesn't moisturize them - it actually makes them feel thicker and more noticeable.
Ceramed Ultra-Hydrating Ceram-Balm
At first, the balm looks shiny, but that shine disappears within 30 minutes. The only good thing is that it helps with flakiness. Otherwise, I need to reapply it constantly to get any comfort back for my dry skin.
This balm doesn't moisturize my lips - it just traps the moisture that's already there. After using it for a while, I don't feel much difference, and when my lips get really chapped and cracked, this balm doesn't help at all - it actually makes things worse with all the dry, flaky skin.

Results
Okay, I'm not gonna recommend it, but if you can snag it for a hundred bucks, go for it - no expectations, though. Everyone's reasons for dry lips are different, and just because Ceramed didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for anyone else.
In its price range, the balm's not the worst, but it's definitely not the best.
If you're desperate to try Cera-balm, you can shell out more cash and get the Good Cera Super Ceramide Lip Oil Stick from Holika. It's still uncomfortable to apply, doesn't moisturize, but within a few days, it'll neutralize those dry patches. Mine took about a week to fade, but the overall dryness persists. As a barrier against wind and cracks, it does work, though.
