summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently stayed at the Central Hotel in Novosibirsk and was blown away by its unbeatable location. You're literally right in the heart of the city, with the metro just a 5-minute walk away. Plus, you've got the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Regional Museum, and loads of other attractions on your doorstep. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to explore the city without breaking the bank.

We recently stayed at the Central Hotel in Novosibirsk, and I've got to say, their location is the real MVP. You're literally right in the heart of the city, with the metro just a 5-minute walk away. Plus, you've got the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Regional Museum, and loads of other attractions on your doorstep. And if you're feeling peckish, there are heaps of cafes and restaurants nearby. The ground floor has a coffee machine, a weighing scale (so you can check your luggage), a phone charger, and even a shoe cleaner.
We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the hotel at first, but it's because it's surrounded by restaurants and cafes, and there's even a whole courtyard with eateries.
The building itself has a rich history, dating back to 1961, and it's amazing how it's held up over the years.
Our room was a standard 2-person room without breakfast, and while it was cozy, we did notice a few things that could be improved. There was no closet, which meant we had to hang our clothes on a hook. And there was no air conditioner, but there was a fan, which helped a bit. We didn't open the windows at night because of the noise outside, but everything we needed was there.

You're right in the heart of the city, with the metro just a 5-minute walk away. Plus, you've got the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Regional Museum, and loads of other attractions on your doorstep. I was really impressed with the hotel's facilities, especially the laundry room on the first floor. And if you're feeling lazy, there's even a coin-operated washing machine on the second floor.
On the second floor, there's also an ironing board, which is super handy. And if you've got any more luggage, there's even a luggage rack in the room.
All in all, the hotel made a great impression, and if they'd just add a wardrobe, it would be absolutely fantastic.
