I'm still beaming from ear to ear after our family's enchanting experience at the Carousel Christmas 2024 event at Crocus. We splurged on VIP seats for 4,990 roubles each, but it was worth every penny. My two little ones, aged 7 and 4, were over the moon to attend their first-ever Christmas event, and I'm so glad I could make their dreams come true. The show was a grand spectacle, with jaw-dropping stunts, engaging audience participation, and stunning visual effects that left us all in awe. The actors' tricks and illusions had my kids speechless and amazed, and the interactive elements kept them fully engaged and entertained throughout. The colorful and vibrant costumes and sets added to the overall festive atmosphere, and the musical elements were catchy and enjoyable. The special effects were top-notch, with impressive projections and lighting that made the show feel truly magical. We had a night to remember, and I'd highly recommend it to families looking for a fun and festive experience.

Hello everyone!
I'm super excited to share our family's experience at the Carousel Christmas 2024 event at Crocus. My two little ones, aged 7 and 4, were beyond thrilled to attend their first-ever Christmas event, and I'm glad I could make their dreams come true.
I started looking into this event back in early November when tickets were still available. The prices were a bit steep - some VIP seats were going for around 50,000 roubles! But I figured, why not splurge a bit and get good seats? I ended up buying four tickets in the VIP area, three rows back from the stage, but on the side. The tickets cost 4,990 roubles each, plus I bought separate tickets for the kids' gifts, which were 1,100 roubles each. In total, we spent 22,160 roubles for the whole family.
We went with my husband and the two kids. I bought the tickets online and printed them out before we left. I marked our seats on the map with a big red X - we were in the third row, on the right-hand side.
The ticket said to arrive an hour early, so we drove there and parked in the underground car park. They weren't allowing parking on the street, and there were plenty of police officers checking everyone's IDs. It was a bit reassuring, to be honest.
When we got to the entrance hall, we saw a few big queues leading up to the doors of the main event hall. There were lots of volunteers in yellow shirts and caps, directing people and giving instructions.
We waited in a long queue outside the venue. At the entrance, they were checking tickets. After that, we could check our bags in, buy some souvenirs, and take photos. There were plenty of photographers offering to take photos for a pretty penny.
We decided to save time and find our entrance to the venue. It was still closed, but a new queue was already forming. So, I'd recommend getting there early.
They let us in around 14:55, and the show was supposed to start at 15:00.
The staff were also helpful in navigating the venue – everything was really well-organized.
Our seats were really comfortable, right up close to the stage. We had a great view of everything. As it happened, they were filming for TV that day, and the camera was moving along rails and occasionally bursting onto the stage.
The venue was nice and airy, with good ventilation. Although, one lady did complain that it was a bit drafty, and they promised to sort it out for her.
When it comes to the chairs and visibility for the little ones, I've got some thoughts. My older son, who's 7 and 130 cm tall, had a great view. But my 4-year-old, who's 116 cm, was a bit short for the seats. They have these special stools that attach under the seat for little ones to reach the floor. I got them from IKEA for the kids' bathroom, but in our case, they're used as footrests under the seat. However, it was pretty uncomfortable for my little one to sit like that, and the backrest got tired easily. In the end, I just ended up holding him on my lap.
I want to give a special shoutout to the show itself. It was absolutely mind-blowing! Santa Claus even rode in on live reindeer.
There were snowmen roaming around the hall, interacting with the audience. The special effects were top-notch: laser beams, flying rockets, acrobatic performances, and they were releasing giant fruits and snowballs for the audience to throw.
It was an incredible experience, and I'm so glad we went!
I've got to say, the live show was absolutely mind-blowing! I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time, and the kids were completely enthralled too.
But I have to admit, the show was a bit different from what I'd seen advertised on TV. The kids were expecting a flying airship and inflatable veggies in the audience, but those weren't there. And they'd been promised the Mimi-mimi characters, but they didn't show up either. Still, it was a real treat.
The show featured all my favorite characters: The Princess, Little Onion, the Prostokvashino gang, Umka, Drakoshki, and Nu, Pogodi...
I really enjoyed the presentation!!! After the presentation, they announced that VIP parter guests could take a photo on stage with any of the characters. One photo costs 2500 rubles. They accept cash, cards, and transfers. You'll get the photos in the foyer, at the PHOTOGRAPHY counter. But that's a whole different story. You'll have to wait in line, and there's a chance they'll mix up the photos or lose them altogether. They're still figuring things out in this department. And to be honest, the photo quality is just okay - no editing. They choose the photos on a tiny camera screen, so you can't really see what you're getting.
After the presentation, you can hang out in the foyer, buy some souvenirs and snacks. If you didn't buy a ticket for the present, you can buy one in the foyer - they're cheaper than what I paid.
Those who bought tickets for the present need to pick them up at the escalator leading to the parking lot.
I'll say one thing about the present - it was a bit of a letdown. It was a small, thin backpack with a small packet of candies and a Memo game. There were also some flyers for some events that we ended up throwing away. As for the access to all the songs, they're already available on the website and open to everyone. But we didn't need them.
We're not even thinking twice about the hefty price tag for the tickets. The show left an unforgettable impression on the whole family! Everything else is just icing on the cake. I'd definitely recommend it - you won't be left feeling meh!
