I remember I don't have Google services, and I head to my favorite AppGallery to update the game, but it's not available yet. And that's when an interesting situation arises - the game is there, but you can't play it without the update. In Google Play, the update is available, and the game is aware of it. But it's not aware that I don't have those services on my phone. In AppGallery, the update isn't available yet. So, the game is there, but I can't play it without the update, nor can I update it.
The main issue with Chinese app stores is that even if they have the necessary apps, the updates are often delayed. I still occasionally use Honor, so this issue remains relevant to me. In the past, I relied on Trashbox, but now I use APKPure.

The app's design is pretty straightforward. It looks like a 2015 app store, with ads flashing at the top and a list of apps below. You can see the 'Recommended apps for you' and 'Popular games in the last 24 hours' widgets. They're obsessed with daily trends, publishing popular apps and games in the last 24 hours, daily recommendations... It's all just a way to suggest you download TikTok (I've never heard of that before) and Solitaire, which is the only other thing they're good for.
The main page is a bit cluttered, but it's easy to navigate on an intuitive level. You'll find ratings and categories at the top, and there's a 'Pre-Regist' page where you can pre-order an app.
And there's a whole list of games waiting for their release. I've never heard of any games being delayed, but it looks like some are. For example, many users are waiting for 'Zenless Zone Zero' (it has over 43,000 pre-registrations).
I've been waiting for the GTA trilogy to be available on APKPure, but honestly, it's not a big deal - you can play all the games in the series for free on PC. I've been playing some of these games for over 20 years now.
There are over 91,000 users waiting for it, including me. One cool thing is the 'Mini Games' section.
You can play a list of games directly in the APKPure store without downloading anything. Just click on the app icon.
Then you just need to wait for it to load and watch an ad.

There's also an option to create a profile on APKPure. Honestly, it's completely unnecessary - it just lets you update apps via notifications. You can easily do without registering.
The only thing APKPure offers that's worth something is cleaning up your phone. Thanks, I guess, but I once downloaded CCleaner and it deleted some important photos of my documents. That was frustrating.
How wide is the selection?
They have everything that works on Android - literally everything, from online shopping apps to Chinese apps.
I just type in the search bar the app I need, and APKPure delivers. It shows me the exact APK I'm looking for, without any junk. I needed a stone simulator, for example, and I downloaded it. Plus, it was two parts in one.
Needless to say, AppGallery can't even come close to offering something like this. I don't think it's worth it.

Well, it's a mixed bag. Let me explain with YouTube as an example. Just downloading it isn't enough - it won't work. You need to download the GBox app as well, and they'll work together.
Even then, you won't get the full functionality. For instance, you won't be able to log in to your account.
The same goes for other Google services. Yeah, they work with a ton of third-party apps and workarounds, but they do work. So, APKPure can be a great alternative to AppGallery, with its wide range of features.
