Packaging and appearance.
The calendar was wrapped in a clear plastic sheet, which is a good idea to prevent damage during shipping. Unfortunately, it arrived with some minor creases on the cover, which wasn't ideal, but it's not a deal-breaker.
Inside, there was a cardboard insert that helped keep the calendar's shape.
The cover is really beautiful, featuring an owl design that my son just loved. It's a great attention-grabber, and it sets the tone for the rest of the calendar.
