I've tried out a ton of planning systems and daily journals: lists, sorting, pre-made planners, simple notebooks, and the works.

But the best thing that's happened to me is the dot grid notebook and Bullet Journal system.

Exmo has a few options for cover art with illustrations, but I chose the plain white one. You can decorate it with stickers yourself:

The cover is dense and easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth – it won't show signs of wear and tear anytime soon. The paper is a lovely shade of gray, nice and dense, and a crisp white:

I'm not a fan of the spring. Mine has gone a bit wonky and the alarm doesn't always go off on the first try. Another downside is that it's awkward to write on the left-hand page with the spring in the way.

So, my next notebook will definitely be a spiral-free zone.
