My Disappointing Experience with Boroplus Lip Balm

I'm always on the lookout for new lip balms, especially during the dry and windy season. It's essential to take extra care of your skin and moisturize it twice as much, or you might end up with chapped lips that are painful to deal with.

I've recently tried the Boro Plus moisturizing balm for dry and chapped lips, and I've been using it for over a month now. I'm excited to share my thoughts with you, and I hope my review will help you make an informed decision about whether or not to try this product.

I was a bit concerned about the paraffin in the ingredients list, as I've heard it can create a protective barrier on the lips that prevents oxygen from getting in, which can make the skin even drier. However, I've been using it for a while now, and I haven't experienced any issues.

PACKAGING AND APPEARANCE

The balm comes in a sturdy cardboard packaging that's covered in stickers and labels touting how great this product is and how many natural ingredients it contains. The packaging is really convenient, and you can find all the necessary information on the cardboard packaging.

Boro Plus Reviews Inside, the balm itself was hiding in a thick plastic container with a screw-off lid. I like the combination of white and sky blue colors, but I have to say, my unit's got some issues with the label alignment - it's off to the side and front and back. Guess I got a bit of a dud. Lip Balm The back has the ingredients and some other info, and there's a manufacturing date on the seam. There's no tamper-evident seal, which is a bit of a concern. I tried to squeeze out the first dose using the tiny hole as a dosing mechanism, and let's just say I was a bit frustrated. I thought maybe I'd gotten a defective unit.

TEXTURE, COLOR, and SCENT

Texture is thick and matte, kinda like petroleum jelly. It's not exactly what I'm looking for in a lip balm, but it gets the job done.

Moisturizing Lip Balm Color is a transparent white. When you rub it in, it becomes completely transparent with a slight sheen.

Dry Lip Balm Scent is pretty subtle - you've got to stick your nose right in to smell it. It's super light and herbal.

MY LIPS

They need constant attention, especially during the cold season. My apartment is super dry, and when I'm outside, it's freezing and windy. So, my skin gets all dry and flaky way faster than usual.

HOW TO USE

Just apply it evenly to your lips when you need it.

MY EXPERIENCE

I use it mostly at home, but sometimes I apply it before heading out. After using it, I get a bit of discomfort. I feel like it's not moisturizing enough. I want to apply it again and again - it looks great on my lips, though.

Boro Plus Lip Balm Reviews A few hours later, my skin is crying out for another dose, even though it looks fine. I guess it's because my lips are pretty well taken care of, so it takes some time to mess them up.

A few hours after applying I decided to put on a liquid red lipstick that really accentuates any imperfections. To my surprise, it went on super smoothly.

Boro Plus Balm THE VERDICT In the cold season, this balm is great for keeping well-moisturized lips looking their best. In the warmer months, it's perfect for a quick, light moisturizing boost.

I have to say, if you've got some serious skin issues like cracks and dry patches, you might want to consider something else. This moisturizer just doesn't do enough to hydrate and nourish.
