Blue Tractor

This quirky little collectible is actually pretty cool - it's a fun addition to any movie enthusiast's collection, guaranteed to bring a smile to their face. I've seen some weird stuff in my time, but this thing takes the cake. It's just plain fun.

My Thoughts on the Blue Tractor Show

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been hearing the Blue Tractor song for years, and it's become a familiar tune for my little ones. As a parent, I've put on the Blue Tractor Show for my son, and I've got some honest thoughts to share. The show has two seasons with 39 and 80 episodes, respectively. While it's engaging at times, there are some episodes that just don't click with me. I've got to say, the commercialization of the show has gotten a bit out of hand. It's like they're screaming 'buy this' at me. I mean, I get it, kids' shows need to make money, but some episodes feel like they're just trying to sell me something. The show's got some great moments, but it's not consistent in terms of quality. You've got to be selective with the episodes if you want to get the most out of the show. It's a decent choice for kids, but you've got to be careful what you're letting them watch.

My Thoughts on the Blue Tractor Show
I've been hearing the Blue Tractor song for years, long before I even thought about having kids. It was a hit back in the day, and I've heard it so many times that it's become a familiar tune for my little ones.
I often put on kids' shows for my son, and the Blue Tractor is one of them. So, I thought I'd share my honest thoughts on it.
The show has two seasons, with 39 episodes in the first and 80 in the second. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the first season, and a few episodes in the second season just didn't click with me.
One thing that really threw me off was the episodes that start with the alphabet. I mean, it sounds harmless, but the chessboard or the boy dancing like a puppet on strings just seemed out of place.
Another episode that really grated on me was the jumping girl episode. She's literally shaking like she's possessed! Why can't they just draw kids dancing normally? And the episode about learning colors? It was so boring and unengaging - they just drag out one word and have a hand color a car. Who came up with that idea?
I've also got to say, the show's gotten a bit too commercialized for my taste. It feels like they're trying to sell me something with every episode. I think they could've done without the ads or at least made them less obvious. Remember when cartoons didn't have ads?
Professor Kislyh Shchey really gets under my skin in a lot of ways. Take his song about vegetables, for example:
Nade kushat' mnogo ovoshchei Chtob na pope ne bylo pryshchey Chtoby ne bylo, tak skazat', pryshchey na pope
This is all kind of funny, but couldn't they have come up with a different rhyme scheme?
I just don't get why they had to include lullabies. And it's almost 9 minutes long! I'm totally against kids falling asleep in front of the screen. I know some people might disagree with me, but I think it's really bad for their nervous system. Of course, I switch to something else right away. If I get distracted, my son will ask me to turn it off.
For me, this is the most bizarre episode. They're dancing and singing, and then suddenly, 'sleep tight, little one'!
It wasn't until the second season that I started to like the characters. And even then, the first three episodes are just crazy. Why couldn't they have drawn the characters normally in the first place? I wouldn't have let my kids watch this!
I was relieved when the third season ended, and we got back to normal heroes and storylines. Finally, we got some real communication with the audience, discussing what we liked and didn't like. Watching this show became a lot more enjoyable after that. Sure, it's missing songs, but at least you won't hear any annoying health tips, like eating lots of veggies to avoid acne.
I found the full text of that song, and what really stood out to me wasn't just that one line. In fact, the song was even a bit educational. If you exclude a few of the cringeworthy parts:
Zloy Kaщey doesn't eat veggies
He sent us those annoying insects
Spiders, caterpillars, and all sorts of creepy-crawlies
But we chased Kaщey away with our tasty porridge
We eat a kilo of veggies for breakfast
No way will that zloy Kaщey defeat us
As Professor Kislыh Щей said
You should eat lots of veggies
Eat lots of veggies
So you don't get acne on your bum
We don't watch many cartoons, but this show is one of the few that my son really enjoys. It's colorful and fun, with lots of catchy songs. I even started choosing which songs to play, but watching back-to-back episodes is not an option. In the end, I only watch this show extremely rarely. Although, my son's favorite toy, the Blue Tractor, is from this show.
One of the things that I appreciate about the Blue Tractor show is its ability to engage my son. He loves the colorful characters and the catchy songs, and it's great to see him laughing and singing along. However, as a parent, I have to admit that I find some of the episodes to be a bit too commercialized. The show feels like it's trying to sell me something with every episode, and it can be a bit overwhelming.
I think that the show's creators did a great job of making the show fun and engaging for kids. The characters are well-developed and the storylines are interesting. However, I wish that they had done a better job of balancing the show's tone. Some of the episodes feel a bit too serious, while others feel a bit too silly.
Overall, I would give the Blue Tractor show 3 stars. It's a fun and engaging show for kids, but it's not perfect. I would recommend watching the first season selectively, and the second season, starting from episode 4. This show is a 100% family favorite, but I just can't bring myself to watch it all the time. It's definitely a show for kids who love cars!
