Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Moisturizing Balm
Ürünstar 5.0

Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Moisturizing Balm

I've tried a bunch of moisturizers, but this one's been a total game-changer for my dry skin. It's super rich, but not greasy at all - just what I need to keep my skin hydrated all day. The formula's fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, so it's perfect for sensitive skin types like mine. I've been using it for a week now, and I can already see a noticeable difference in my skin's hydration and overall health. My skin feels softer, smoother, and it's even reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I'm really impressed with how well it works, and I think it's a great value for money.

Our Honest Experience with Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm for Eczema and Dry Skin
We've been using Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm to manage our family's eczema and dry skin issues. With three of us suffering from atopic dermatitis, eczema, and ridiculously dry skin, we needed a reliable solution.
Our winter skincare routine is pretty intense - we use emollients, shower gels, and scrubs to keep our skin hydrated and flake-free. Emollients are our go-to products, and we've tried several brands, including Avene xeracalm.
We loved Avene xeracalm, but we always had issues with the large bottle - sometimes the smell was off, and the dispenser wouldn't work. This winter, we gave Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm another shot, and we're glad we did.
The balm is incredibly thick and moisturizing, making it perfect for dry, eczema-prone skin. We apply it generously, immediately after our showers or baths, and multiple times a day. It's a bit more expensive, but trust me, the payoff is worth it.
Our dermatologist recommends keeping bath times short, avoiding hot water, and wearing natural fibers to help manage atopic skin. We aim for 10-15 minutes in warm water to keep our skin comfortable.
We bought a 200ml bottle, which lasted for a week for two little ones, aged 2 and 5. I've been applying it consistently, but not always - some days I forget, others I remember.
Despite some quirks, this emollient has been a game-changer for us: it moisturizes like a dream, keeps the skin comfortable, and probably helps with maintaining remission.
I've come to realize that there's no one-size-fits-all solution for eczema. You need to try, compare, and find what works for you. What didn't work before might be perfect now - that's exactly what happened with us.
One thing to note is that this product is not a cure-all for eczema. It won't make the itchiness go away, and it won't clear up redness and irritation. But it will help keep the skin hydrated and comfortable, which is essential for managing eczema.
For us, the key to success has been consistency. We apply the balm multiple times a day, and we make sure to use it in conjunction with other products recommended by our dermatologist.
Our experience with Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm has been overwhelmingly positive. We've seen significant improvements in our skin, and we're grateful to have found a product that works for us.
Of course, every family is different, and what works for us may not work for others. But if you're struggling with eczema and dry skin, I highly recommend giving Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm a try.
Where to buy:
Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm is available in pharmacies, such as Planet Health, and on marketplaces like Ozon. I've also found it on NAOS, but I haven't made a purchase there yet.

Manufacturer information:

The Intensive Balm thoroughly and long-lastingly hydrates the skin, with its effects lasting for 24 hours. It even helps with eczema. *Clinical study, 130 volunteers with moderate atopic dermatitis from six months to 15 years old.
Active Ingredients:
Lipigenium complex restores the skin's protective barrier and calms it downPatent Skin Barrier Therapy creates a protective film on the skin and helps stop the spread of bacteria and allergensZinc reduces redness and itchinessUsage:
Apply in the morning and evening. Apply to previously cleaned skin. Recommended cleaning: Atoderm Intensive Gel. You can also use it with dermatocorticosteroids.
You can use it from birth, except for premature babies.
Our Experience:
I've got eczema on my hand, and no matter how many times I apply it, it just doesn't go away. The only thing that helps is hormones.
It does hydrate - that's for sure!
Redness, irritation, itching, and rashes - nothing's been able to clear them up, except for the fact that most moisturizers do manage to hydrate the skin with regular use.
What's more, it doesn't irritate my skin at all, unlike some other products I've tried, like La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP+.
This product is suitable for both face and body. My older daughter uses it too, and she says it's great for hydrating her face. She's got acne and takes retinoids, which dry out her skin, but this product saves the day.
This product doesn't help with the itchiness in our case, but that's not the product's fault - we've tried Atarax for that too.
I apply emollients, hormonal creams, and calamine with fucorcin to the scratched areas - all on my dermatologist's advice. We see our dermatologist more often than our pediatrician.
This product is safe to use with corticosteroids. Initially, we applied moisturizer first, then followed up with hormonal creams. Our doctor later allowed us to apply them together.
I used to think it's better to buy the larger size, but now I realize that the medium size is perfect for us. I'm not a fan of products with built-in dispensers - I've never managed to get the last quarter of the product out. That's exactly how much is left when the dispenser stops working.
How long does it last?
For two little ones, aged 2 and 5, this 200ml tube has been a lifesaver for a week. I've been applying it pretty consistently, but not always - some days I forget, others I remember.
I like how it absorbs really quickly, doesn't leave any residue.
I apply it liberally, the cream's visible on my skin, then I distribute it with some massaging movements. When I touch my skin, it should feel soft and hydrated - that's when I know I've used enough.
I'm happy to report that there's no harsh chemical smell to this product - it's almost imperceptible.
This product is a must-have for our household, especially during the winter months. It's helped our dry, eczema-prone skin, and I highly recommend it to anyone who suffers from similar issues.
