Hello everyone!
I'll cut straight to the chase - I'm not going to bore you with the details about the Beeline website, app, and tariffs. You can find all that online if you're interested.
I just want to share the moments that have stuck with me over the past 8 years and give you a sense of what I consider good value for money.
Switching to Beeline
Switching to Beeline was a necessity for me back in 2017 when I needed a connection in a spot where Beeline was the only option available.
I planned to keep my number from another operator, specifically MTS, and transfer it to Beeline. But MTS had other plans.
Changing your phone number is a major hassle these days, and I'm sure you can imagine why. All your services are tied to it, and if you change it, you'll have to redo a ton of work to get everything up and running again.
Government services, banks, email, and more - it's a long list of essential services that you'll need to update.
That's why I wanted to keep my number. But MTS insisted that I get a new number on Beeline. When I ignored their requests, they started threatening me.
The most ridiculous part was when the MTS representative told me that I wouldn't be able to use my existing services with the same number on Beeline. She claimed that my services were tied not just to the number, but to the specific operator.
I used my logic and realized it was just a tactic.
So, after a week, I became a Beeline customer.
Personal Account and App
I was hesitant to download the Beeline app at first, but it's actually made things a lot easier for me. I wouldn't recommend it just yet, as I've only just started using it.
At first glance, it's not very user-friendly, but once you get the hang of it, you can save a ton of time. I use it to monitor my expenses and more.
I regularly log in to my personal Beeline account, and here's why.
My account is linked not only to my number, but also to my parents' and my eldest daughter's numbers.
My daughter's just started using her phone, so I need to keep an eye on her spending, calls, texts, and internet usage. At least, that's what I thought, to teach her how to use her phone properly and stay connected.
I also need to keep an eye on the operator, not just my parents' numbers. Yes, you read that right! I want to know what's going on behind the scenes.
It's no secret that MTS has a history of adding expensive tariffs and paid services without our consent. The worst part is that we didn't need them, and they weren't even beneficial.
For instance, they'd add a new tariff with internet for someone who'd never used the internet before. Their phone wouldn't even allow them to access the internet, but MTS would still charge them extra for it.
Or they'd add a package of extra GBs of internet for a fee. We'd only find out when our phone bill ran out.
How did we resolve the issue? I'd always contact MTS support and get what I needed.
I have to give them credit: they always came through. They'd refund the money we'd been charged for services we didn't agree to, and even revert back to our old tariff if they'd changed it without our consent.
Recently, I haven't seen these issues arise, but the habit of checking remains. As they say: trust, but verify!
Why I've Stuck with Beeline So Far, or How Beeline Keeps Its Customers Happy
I've tried to switch to a different operator twice.
First time, I was unhappy with the connection. But before writing the letter to switch to a new operator, I contacted their support. They promised to prioritize my number.
And get this – within a day, the connection improved. I don't know how they did it, but it worked! At least, it did back then...
Second time, I was unhappy with the cost of services. I found a cheaper connection and even wrote the letter to switch, paying 300 rubles to the new operator.
A Beeline representative called me right away and offered a discount on my tariff for a whole year – so much so that it was cheaper than what I was paying.
They even refunded the 300 rubles I'd paid to switch to the other operator.
Beeline is definitely fighting for its customers, and it's not just empty words – it's real action.
How I Save on My Phone Bill
I've been keeping an eye on the pricing with other operators, and to be honest, I don't see a huge difference right now.
But they do keep raising the costs. Just recently, they cut my unlimited internet down to 20 GB per month.
And the last price increase was on January 1, 2026, which was a 2 ruble per day hike.
I'm always on the lookout for deals and discounts to save on my phone bill.
There were a few of those in January alone.
Like, they offered me a survey to complete and get some rewards towards my phone bill.
I also took advantage of a promotion where I topped up my balance by 550 rubles and got 200 rewards towards my phone bill.
And just recently, I completed some tasks on Yandex Tasks and got a new badge called 'Связной' with some discounts on my phone bill.
There are plenty of other promotions I can take advantage of, like the one on premier online cinema.
After 8 years with Beeline, I'd say I'm generally happy with their services. But if I wasn't so persistent, I'd have switched to another operator a long time ago
I also make sure to keep an eye on my bills and services.
One of the things that keeps me with Beeline is their willingness to listen to their customers. I've had my fair share of issues, but they've always been willing to work with me to resolve them.
Another thing that I appreciate is their transparency. They clearly explain their pricing and services, and they don't try to sneak in any extra charges.
Overall, I'm happy with my decision to stick with Beeline. They may not be perfect, but they're definitely one of the better options out there.
What I Wish Beeline Would Improve
While I'm generally happy with Beeline, there are a few things that I wish they would improve.
Firstly, I wish they would make their app more user-friendly. While it's been a game-changer for me, it can be a bit confusing at times.
Secondly, I wish they would offer more promotions and discounts. While they do offer some great deals, I feel like they could do more to incentivize their customers.
Lastly, I wish they would improve their customer support. While they've always been willing to listen to my issues, I feel like they could do more to resolve them in a timely manner.
My Experience with Beeline
After 8 years with Beeline, I'd say I'm generally happy with their services. While they may not be perfect, they're definitely one of the better options out there.
I appreciate their willingness to listen to their customers, their transparency, and their commitment to providing good service.
Of course, there are always areas for improvement, but I'm confident that Beeline will continue to grow and improve in the future.
Final Thoughts
As I look back on my 8 years with Beeline, I'm reminded of the importance of choosing a reliable and trustworthy operator. Beeline has been that for me, and I'm grateful for their service.
So, if you're in the market for a new operator, I highly recommend giving Beeline a try. You won't regret it!
