Our Go-To Snowsuit for Little Ones: A Winter Essential

summarizeEditor's Summary

We've found our go-to snowsuit for little ones, and it's been a total game changer for us. I snagged it ahead of time, and I'm so glad I did. The fleece lining is super warm, and the Rip Stop fabric is durable enough to withstand my kid's daily adventures. The 'go-go' design is a winner with my little one, and the bright color is both fun and safe. Plus, it's easy to clean and spot dirt on the road. I've gotta say, this snowsuit is worth every penny and has been a lifesaver on cold winter days.

Winter finally rolled in, and I'm glad I snagged this snowsuit for my little one ahead of time. I was on the hunt for something warm, with fleece, but not so bulky that my kid would look like a space suit and feel uncomfortable while moving around. The color had to be bright (dark colors make it tough for drivers to spot kids on the road) and easy to clean, so I don't have to wash it every week. And that's when I found this one!
This snowsuit for kids is made from durable Rip Stop fabric with a 5000mm/5000g/m2/24h membrane. The membrane won't let water in, won't let cold air in, and lets your body breathe.
I knew my kid would love this snowsuit with their favorite 'go-go' design. It's not too dark, but the color is universal enough that dirt won't show, and it's eye-catching.
Inside, there's a pink fleece lining. The size is 86, but it actually runs a bit bigger or smaller depending on the kid. My kid wears 92, but surprisingly, the snowsuit fits perfectly.
Filling: Tech-Polyfill 280 g. The temperature range is from +5 to -30 degrees Celsius, which is perfect for our cold winters. The lining is fleece in the body, hood, collar, and cuffs, and sliding fabric in the sleeves and pants.
The hood is removable, and it's easy to adjust. The faux fur part comes off with a zipper.
Removable hood and removable artificial fur on zippers. The hood weight is a nice touch, too.
The zipper is sturdy and reliable. It zips up securely even in freezing temperatures and doesn't freeze. There's a strip of fabric above the buttons to prevent wind from getting in.
High-quality YKK zipper with chin guard protection - you can tell they didn't skimp on the details.
Hands down, the mittens and booties are my favorite part of this combo. They're got those handy little straps and warm booties that slip on and off without any fuss. We usually wear thin gloves and then these booties on top. If it's hot outside, you can easily remove them. And if we're out on a chilly day or stuck on a bus with the kid, it's a breeze to just slip them back on.
The best part? My daughter never takes them off!
The pockets on this combo are a game-changer - they're deep and easy to access. My kid loves having a place to stash their snacks and toys.
This combo has reflective strips and a cute little Velcro closure at the waist. Honestly, every detail on this thing is just so well thought out and designed in this adorable, feminine style.
Care is a breeze - it's machine washable and can even be tumble dried on a low heat setting. I've washed it a few times, and it still looks like new.
But the real MVP of this combo is the hood! It's got ears and a nose, and it's so easy to use to steer the kid around. The nose is even made of reflective material.
Okay, so the snowsuit is definitely bulky, but overall my kid moves around just fine in it and the fabric doesn't make that annoying rustling sound all the time. We've even taken it out in temps as low as -20°C.
This snowsuit is a total mood-booster – my kid loves wearing it and showing it off to everyone!
It's been a total winner in terms of build quality and has even withstood some pretty chilly temps, so I'm not complaining at all!
