- One thing that would be nice is a kids' club or animator to keep the little ones entertained.
- The rooms could use a bit more storage space, especially for families.
- The prices are steep, but like I said, it's worth every penny.
- The kid's bed was a bit too small for our little one, but we made do.
- The hotel could use a bit more attention to detail, like providing toothbrushes and toothpaste.
- The hotel's cancellation policy could be more flexible.

Hey there, fellow travelers!
We booked the Berdsk Pine Tree Hotel in Novosibirsk without hesitation, and I'm so glad we did!
I've always thought this place was just about the thermal complex, but it turns out you can actually stay here.
The prices are steep, but it's still cheaper than a sanatorium, and you don't need to stay for days on end.
We booked a room for three with a single bed, and we had to pay extra for the kid, but the kid ended up sleeping with us anyway. We also got a breakfast buffet for three, and the kid didn't even eat anything.
We got a room with a huge thermal zone, and I'm so glad we did - the little ones were right by the building, as was the restaurant.Check-in was a breeze, and they gave us a map of the place. They've even got their own electric car to drive guests around, so even if you don't have a car, check-in is easy - no need to lug your stuff around.
We paid 18,700 rubles for one night, which is a weekday rate, not even the new year's rate. I wouldn't have wanted to stay for a week, even if it was within my means - it would have gotten boring.
The park has a huge territory, and there's a cafe and a restaurant. We went there in the evening, and there's live music every night - it was awesome.
We weren't blown away by the food, to be honest - my mom loved the beer, though, and was even surprised by how much she liked it. The kids' menu was a nice touch, too - our daughter had some fries, as usual.
Fortunately, the weather was on our side - it was a chilly -4 with a lot of snow, so going to the baths was a real treat. That said, I wasn't a fan of the ice skating - it's just not very convenient with kids, and you can easily get cold. Luckily, the weather was nice, and we left when it dropped to -20. I wouldn't have taken my daughter out to the pool in weather like that.
The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, with everything you'd need - even toothbrushes.
One thing that didn't sit well with me was the neighbor's smoking - our bathroom was pretty smelly, but we never did figure out who it was.
I slept pretty well, but the fridge in our room was way too loud - I had to use earplugs, which was a good thing I'd brought from home.
Breakfast was a real treat - the buffet was amazing, and we just didn't have time to hang out and enjoy it as much as we'd have liked. Maybe next time we'll get up a bit earlier.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay - it was cozy, clean, quiet, and felt like a real family vacation. We saw a lot more families than rowdy groups, which was a nice change of pace.
We're definitely coming back in the summer! We relaxed just as well as we would have on the Altai, it's just that the location is a 1.5-hour drive through traffic. To be honest, I don't even want to drive any further now.
