I was super stoked to try out Belita's mascaras, and I've gotta say, their Luxury Volume line is pretty great - especially when it comes to value for money.
I've tried almost the entire series, including the Luxury Volume from Belita.

Belita Luxury Volume Ultra Black MascaraHowever, when I opened the package for the Ultra Black mascara, I noticed that the quality was different from the other two. That's what we're going to talk about.
For moderators: I created a new thread for this mascara because they have different compositions. Essentially, you can't write about the black and brown mascaras in the same thread – they're different cosmetic products in reality.

PACKAGING
All the mascaras in the Luxury Volume line have chubby tubes. They differ only in color, so they match the shade.
Belita Luxury Volume Ultra Black MascaraI really love the brush on this mascara – it's perfect! It makes it super easy to coat your lashes.
It's not too small, not too big, and it doesn't dig into your skin.
FORMULA:
Belita Royal Volume Ultra Black FormulaWhen I opened the package, I found a little paper with the ingredients of three mascaras: brown, graphite, and black.
I immediately noticed that the ingredients of the gray and brown mascaras were almost identical, but the black one was different. At that moment, I started wondering... what if the quality of the black mascara isn't as great as the other two? My thoughts weren't entirely unfounded.
TONE
And yes, it's really a super black shade.
Belita Royal Volume Ultra BlackCheck it out compared to the graphite shade. The difference is clear. The color is very rich.
But in reality, you won't notice the difference in color on your lashes. But you will notice the difference in quality...
Belita Royal Volume Ultra BlackCONSISTENCY, APPLICATION, AND RESULTS
When I first applied it, I remembered the ingredients because the consistency of the mascara was noticeably different. It's hard to describe the difference, but it's similar to the feeling of glycerin. It's sticky and dry at the same time. Not that dryness that happens when mascaras start to dry out. No, it's a unique formula.
Belita Royal Volume Ultra Black EyelinerI've found that this eyeliner is a bit finicky to apply, and it's all because of its consistency. It's 50/50 when it comes to loading onto the brush, and I end up wanting to take more product, but it just won't cooperate. I'm a fan of thick, dramatic lashes, but with this eyeliner, I need to spend way too much time building up the color to get the look I want. Even then, it's not always a guarantee. I've had to work with other eyeliners that require just a couple of coats to get the desired effect, but this one's a different story. You'll need to sit down and really work at it to get a decent result.
Belita Royal Volume Ultra Black EyelinerSTABILITY
I've been disappointed to find that this eyeliner can smudge and even flake off on me. I'm not a fan of that at all - who wants to walk around looking like a panda? And to make matters worse, it's the ultra black shade...
It's also not as easy to remove as some of my other favorite eyeliners (the graphite and brown shades are a breeze to take off), and I've found that I need to use a bit more elbow grease to get it off with a micellar water. That's definitely a minus in my book.
TAKEAWAYS
I have to say, I was really let down by the Belif Royal Volume Ultra Black Eyeliner. I've loved the previous versions in this line, and if I were to repurchase, it would definitely be the graphite or brown shades. The brown shade, in particular, looks amazing on blonde hair.
It's clear that the difference in formula has resulted in a less-than-stellar outcome.
I wouldn't recommend this one, but the other shades are great!
