We spent a week at this awesome beachfront hotel in mid-September 2024, and it was an incredible experience.
Check-in wasn't until after 1 pm, but we arrived early in the morning, and we could've checked in earlier into a higher category room for an extra fee. However, we decided to take our time and explore the hotel, visit the beach, and leave our luggage at the reception.
In the end, they offered us an upgraded two-level room on the first floor - Room 4007. It was quiet, peaceful, and the evening entertainment was far enough away that it didn't disturb us.
The room itself was great, with a stunning mountain view, a private veranda with loungers, two bathrooms, comfortable beds, and decent amenities. The only thing that needed some attention was the bathrooms - the walls and doors could use some renovation work, although the plumbing was working fine. One thing that stood out was that the veranda wasn't isolated from the adjacent rooms, and you could even enter it from the central entrance. I'd suggest to the hotel management to restrict access to the veranda from outside.
The food at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The chefs deserve a round of applause! There was an incredible variety of dishes to suit every taste - from kids' menu options to vegetarian dishes.
It could get busy in the dining hall, but we always managed to find a spot on the veranda, which was more comfortable with the air conditioning.
This hotel's beachfront location is seriously unbeatable. You can literally step out of your room and onto the sand. The beach itself is pretty big, with coarse sand that's perfect for sunbathing. Just be aware that the shoreline is rocky, and there are some massive boulders in the water that'll require some serious snorkeling gear.
I noticed that the hotel staff could do a better job of clearing the first 10 meters of the beach of these big rocks. It would make a huge difference for guests who want to swim or sunbathe without worrying about getting hurt.
That being said, the hotel has done a great job of setting up a special path for entering and exiting the water. It's a game-changer for anyone who's struggled with the rocky shoreline before. Just be sure to watch your step – it's still a bit of a challenge, especially for kids or people with mobility issues.
One of the best things about this hotel is the equipped pier with sun loungers, cafes, and several slides into the sea. It's a total bonus for families and beach lovers.
On the left side of the beach, there are individual paid huts with sun loungers, a safe, and service - it's cool, convenient, but pricey.
I loved that they deliver drinks along the beach, although there's also a cafe with mind-blowingly delicious Ayran and water nearby.
Entertainment-wise, there's a daily kids' disco that's okay, but not exactly wow-worthy. They've got paid arcade games, though, and a variety of shows that were pretty cool for adults.
After a day, you can unwind in the sauna or get a massage - we had one, and it was worth the extra cost, although it wasn't the best experience.We were generally happy with our stay, and the hotel's location, food, and room selection were all top-notch.
If the service doesn't take a hit, we'd definitely consider coming back here again.
