I've been wearing contact lenses for almost a decade now, and I've only tried a handful of different options. To be honest, I'm a bit of a creature of habit and often stick with what I know and love.
The star of this review is the Bausch&Lomb Pure Vision 2 contact lens.
Bausch&Lomb PureVision 2 contact lenses are high-quality, breathable lenses designed to keep your eyes healthy all day long. You can wear them for up to 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As they're made from ultra-breathable silicone hydrogel material, PureVision 2 lenses allow three times more oxygen to pass through than regular hydrogel lenses.

Each lens comes packaged in its own container with a cleaning solution, which is then wrapped in a box.
The packaging information from the manufacturer can be found on the side of the box. The lens containers are airtight. You can see the lenses through the packaging, and they're tinted blue. I decided to buy these lenses after a long period of using Acuvue OASYS lenses for a while. I wanted to try a more budget-friendly option.
At first, they seemed thick compared to the thinner Acuvue lenses, but my eyes got used to them eventually.
Application:
Before putting on or taking off the lenses, make sure to wash your hands with soap.
I put on the lenses by taking them out of the container with my fingers and then placing them in my eye with one finger.
I take off the lenses with two fingers and a clip from my eye.
These lenses aren't the most comfortable to wear during the day. I put them in at 7 or 8 am, and by 7 pm, my eyes are tired, and it's hard to focus. They start to dry out, too.
The recommended wear time for a pair is a month, but I get about three weeks out of them. After three weeks, it becomes uncomfortable to wear them, and it's harder to walk around with them all day. So, I need to change the pair every three weeks, not a month.
I tried wearing them for a month, but that was a bad idea. Not only was it uncomfortable to wear them for the fourth week, but when I tried to wear them for a month, I developed conjunctivitis.
After using these contact lenses to treat my conjunctivitis for the second time, I haven't bought them again.
I bought a few packs of these lenses in a row and gave them a thorough test.
Eventually, I went back to buying my old favorites, the more expensive but reliable Acuvue OASYS contact lenses.
So, these lenses disappointed me in every way... by the evening, my eyes feel tired and dry, they don't last as long as promised, even if you try to wear them for the full month, it's uncomfortable, and there's a risk of getting conjunctivitis.
As for the value for money, I don't see any benefits - my opinion got worse with each use.
So, the money I saved by buying Bausch&Lomb Pure Vision contact lenses doesn't seem worth it in terms of comfort and the lenses not living up to their promised lifespan. It's better to spend a bit more on a more reliable pair.
