I'd been eyeing these boots for a while, and to be honest, it was love at first sight. But I wasn't really in the market for another pair of demis-season boots, and when I saw them in the store, the only size available was 40, which felt a bit too small for me.

That's when I first laid eyes on these boots.

They're stylish, glossy, and have a low heel. From the outside, they looked pretty comfortable, and the price seemed reasonable, too - around 3000 rubles. I spent about 30 minutes trying them on and walking around the store, sending pics to my husband. He didn't really think much of them, but he didn't try to dissuade me either. He just asked, 'Are they comfortable?'

Despite their relatively low heel, walking in them was a chore. The ankle strap was just not comfortable. Although, they did look really cool.

But they do make a great transitional piece. They've got insulation inside, which is perfect for in-between seasons.

My feet are killing me in these boots. It feels like I'm wearing stilettos or something. And driving isn't exactly a breeze either. To be honest, I haven't even tried driving in these boots because of the squared-off toe box. I thought it might get in the way of pressing the pedals, but it doesn't. Still, it's not super comfortable.

So, three stars it is. I'm not even sure if I'll end up wearing these boots.
