I've been hooked on knitting for a long time, and I have to say, Alize Puffy Color yarn has won me over.
I've tried lots of different yarns over the years, but this one stands out for its incredible softness and beautiful color palette.
What I love most about Alize Puffy Color is that it's perfect for simple, easy patterns - no need for knitting needles or crochet hooks!
My kids, family, and clients all share my love for this yarn and the projects I make with it.
Alize Puffy Color
Yarn name: Alize Puffy Color
Country of origin: Turkey
Price: 130-200 rubles per skein
Composition: 100% micro-polyester
The yarn is sold in skeins and packs of five.
Alize Puffy Color Each skein is wrapped in a special dense paper label with all the necessary information for knitters: color number in the palette and batch, yardage, yarn composition, care instructions, and more.
Alize Puffy ColorOne thing that really caught my attention about this yarn is that it's made from 100% micro-polyester, but it doesn't feel like the synthetic yarns I'm used to. It's incredibly soft and gentle, and it's completely hypoallergenic, making it perfect for baby clothes from birth.
Alize Puffy ColorI actually bought this yarn alongside the classic solid-colored Alize Puffy, and they're identical in terms of composition, feel, and appearance. The only difference is the unique colorway of this yarn.
Alize Puffy ColorThere was also a limited edition of Alize Puffy Color with multicolored speckles. Unfortunately, those colors are no longer in production. I managed to knit a blanket and some custom-made booties from it before they were discontinued.
Alize Puffy Color Alize Puffy ColorMost of the Alize Puffy Color colorways feature yarns with color transitions, but it's not a smooth gradient like the Ombre Batik. Instead, it's more of a speckled look.
Alize Puffy Color yarn I find that working with Alize Puffy Color yarn is a real treat - all I need to do is knit the loops together. I mostly use this yarn to make baby blankets, but I've also tried my hand at making some cozy slippers.
Alize Puffy Color yarn I've even made some adorable little pillow covers in the shape of donuts, and the color transition in Alize Puffy Color yarn is so smooth, it doesn't need any extra embellishments.
Alize Puffy Color yarn The real showstopper, though, is the 'Sven the Sheep' rug I made for my son's first birthday, using both Alize Puffy Color and Alize Puffy yarns.
Alize Puffy Color yarn Alize Puffy Color yarn The finished product is just adorable and super cozy. I didn't come up with the design myself, though - I followed a pattern by a well-known crafter.
Alize Puffy Color yarn Alize Puffy Color yarnI used 15 skeins of yarn to make this blanket: 9 skeins of Alize Puffy Color in color 6075, and 6 skeins of the solid grey Alize Puffy in color 416.
There are tons of patterns and techniques to choose from - I'm not exactly the most creative person, but I've picked up a few things from online tutorials and patterns.
You can adapt just about any lace pattern for knitting to make a blanket.
For example, I made these swatches for a blanket I'm making for a special order.
