A Total Disaster with Dalli's Delivery

Editor's Summary
I'm still fuming about my experience with Dalli's delivery service. I ordered a bunch of stuff online, but what arrived was a total disaster. The packaging was all torn up, and some items were even missing. I'm talking about a bunch of stuff - not just a few little things. It's like they just threw everything in a box and hoped for the best. I'm really disappointed in the shipping quality, and I'm not sure if I'll be using Dalli again anytime soon.
Specifications
I've ordered a lot from Golden Apple before, and delivery was always handled by EMS or DPD - it was super convenient: fast, clear, always on time, with decent notifications.
But this time my order got sent through Dalli, and honestly, it was one of the worst delivery experiences I've had in a while.
My order from GA was placed on December 25th, the delivery date was initially set for January 5th, 2026.
January 5th - complete radio silence
No SMS, no notifications about a delay in the first half of the day.
I had to check the order status on the website (screenshot of the order's entire journey below) to find out what was going on.
Okay, holidays, I get it: logistics, roads, traffic - things happen.
January 6th - a fleeting glimmer of hope
On January 6th, I get an SMS saying 'delivery today from 9 to 18', there's a tracking number, the status changes to 'handed over to the courier'. Great, I'm waiting.
Later in the day, I decide to call the courier to confirm.
And then things take a turn
On the other end of the line, the poor courier, frazzled and clearly stressed, tells me:
'I don't have anything to tell you, I have 200 orders today, I'm alone.'
I was blown away by how disorganized they were.
It's clear the problem lies with Dalli, not the courier.
Eventually, in the evening, I see that the order has been returned to the warehouse, with a delivery date of unknown.
Dalli's support - silence and waiting
I write to their support chat. The responses come an hour later.
In the end, they tell me that the new delivery date is January 8th, because January 7th is a holiday. Okay, I wait.
Meanwhile, I write to Golden Apple's support (they're partners) - they get in touch with Dalli, who offers delivery on January 8th or 9th. We confirm January 8th.
January 8th - another surprise
Today is January 8th.
I wait until lunchtime - the status is still unknown, no SMS, no warnings.
I start calling and writing to Dalli myself. The standard response is 'wait, we're checking.'
It's only on the third call that the operator, seemingly surprised, tells me:
'Actually, January 8th is a holiday, our branch in your city is closed.'
I ask a logical question: why did they schedule the delivery and confirm the date twice?
Of course, I don't get an answer.
The final verdict
Delivery service Dalli is ridiculously disorganized.
I get that delivery times can be a bit wonky during holidays and whatnot, but why can't they get their act together with notifications?
Why do I have to track the delivery myself?
Why do they schedule delivery dates on days when the local branch is closed?
Why does customer support take ages to respond and not even have the latest info?
I rarely write scathing reviews, but this one's a no-brainer. I really hope Golden Apple takes a hard look at their delivery partners, because this kind of service is a total reputation killer.
Dalli - Not recommended.
Thanks for stopping by❤️

UPDATE: Additional info from 09.01
I was expecting a call, but instead, I got another SMS with a tracking number and courier info.
At the same time, I was already messaging Golden Apple's support to clarify things.
They're assuring me that delivery will be today.
I'm paying attention to the time stamps here - 10:42, and I'm messaging everywhere because I'm waiting for this delivery, right?)
I check the tracking, and what a surprise - Failed delivery attempt, according to the courier, 09.01.2026, 10:53
So I'm messaging Golden Apple at 10:42, they're checking with Dalli, and by 10:53, the delivery status has already been updated to failed attempt, and to make matters worse, it's all my fault (spoiler alert: I didn't answer a non-existent call)
After calling their customer service, the operator told me that their system shows multiple attempts by the courier, and since I didn't answer, the delivery's been rescheduled for tomorrow😂
I didn't miss any calls, and I was waiting for that call since morning.
I called the courier, and he initially said he didn't call, but then admitted to calling three times, and I didn't answer:( No missed calls, and he's already left the delivery route, so he won't be coming today. He suggested I leave a secondary contact number, but I'm so done with this nonsense that I'm just canceling the order.
Honestly, even SDEK (our local delivery service) would've at least called and returned the package if they couldn't deliver
I've made up my mind to stop ordering via Golden Apple's delivery service, and maybe even stop shopping there altogether 🙌🏻
