Hello there!
I've been on the hunt for a good face mask that actually delivers, but it's been a tough search. Still, I hold onto hope that someday I'll stumble upon something amazing. That's exactly what happened when I tried out this face mask, which I'd read about online and was intrigued by its description.
Where I bought it and how much it cost.
I picked it up at a cosmetics store called "Ulybka Radugi" for around 43-44 rubles, which was a great deal considering the discount. I've been trying to find affordable skincare products, and this one fit the bill.
The packaging and design.
The packaging is super colorful and eye-catching, with a predominantly orange and white color scheme. However, the contrast between the colors is a bit harsh on the eyes, and I think a different color would have been better. The image of oranges and leaves on the front is really nice, though!
On the back, there's an instruction sheet and some basic info. Unfortunately, the white text on the orange background is a bit hard to read. At the bottom, there's a note saying it's not tested on animals, which is always a plus.
The description.
This face mask is packed with high-performance antioxidants from oranges and kiwis that neutralize free radicals, protect skin cells from damage, and keep them looking smooth and toned. Vitamin C nourishes and rejuvenates the skin, getting rid of wrinkles and evening out its tone. Hyaluronic acid and allantoin provide long-lasting hydration, while natural extracts intensely nourish and regenerate skin cells. The mask tones and moisturizes, improving blood flow and strengthening the skin's protective functions. The unique formula of this serum returns the face to its natural glow and healthy color. This face mask is suitable for all skin types and works best when used as part of a course.
The description is really detailed and promising, and it covers all the features I was looking for. I was excited to try it out and see if it would live up to its claims.
At the time, I was going through a really tough period, with tons of stress and my skin looking tired, pale, and super dry. I wasn't holding out much hope for any face masks to help with the dryness, as they usually don't work for me. I also had some dermatitis on the corners of my mouth and around my eyes, but that's not related to the mask, of course.
Using the mask.
The sheet mask isn't perfect, but it's decent and fits well. However, it's a bit of a pain to unfold. It would be nice if it came out of the package easier.
The application process is comfortable, and the mask doesn't feel sticky. The scent is light and citrusy, and I really enjoyed wearing it. I left it on for about 15-20 minutes, as instructed.
After I took it off, most of the product had been absorbed, leaving just a tiny bit of residue. I massaged it into my skin rather than washing it off, and I could feel the hydration and comfort.
The results.
For the first few hours, my skin felt super hydrated, and the dryness and tightness had disappeared. I felt really comfortable, and the dermatitis was still there, but that's not the mask's fault – I'm treating it with other products.
Before/while/after:
I thought the hydration would only last a day, which would have been a great result for me. But this mask surprised me – the hydration and softness have lasted for several days, and the effect is long-lasting. My skin is smooth and even.
A few days later, before using another mask:
The hydration is still there, even considering I've been crying a lot recently, which isn't great for my skin.
I still haven't gotten rid of the signs of fatigue, as that's not something a face mask can fix.
The verdict.
I'm really impressed with this face mask – it's been a while since I've found one that delivers. The long-lasting effect is a major plus, and I even considered buying more when I saw it on sale at the same price. However, I decided to try out two other masks from the same brand first – one with blueberries and one with roses.
I'd give it five stars, despite a few minor drawbacks. Overall, I'm really happy with the results I got from this face mask.
