A Major Disappointment: What Went Wrong at This Place

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm really disappointed with my experience at this place. The living conditions are cramped and poorly ventilated, which isn't ideal for kids. I've noticed my kid's always hungry when I pick them up, and other kids have been crying from hunger too. It's a sign of deeper problems with the way they're being cared for. The playroom's a mess, and the staff seems more interested in going through the motions than actually taking care of the kids. I've seen my kid wander off the premises while the teacher was right there with them. It's just not a place I'd want to send my kid to.

A Major Disappointment: What Went Wrong at This Place
I was really looking forward to seeing some progress in my kid's life, but things haven't gone as planned. The living conditions here are cramped and poorly ventilated, which isn't ideal for anyone, especially kids.
The kids are fed, but I've noticed my kid's always hungry when I pick them up. I've even seen other kids crying from hunger when their parents arrive - that's just not okay. It's a sign of deeper problems with the way they're being cared for.
The playroom's a mess, with toys and stuff scattered all over the place. It's not just about tidying up; it's about teaching the kids the importance of organization and responsibility. And just the other day, my kid wandered off the premises while the teacher was right there with them. I was freaked out, to say the least.
This incident highlights a bigger issue: the lack of supervision and attention to detail here. The staff seems more interested in going through the motions than actually taking care of the kids. They've hired some English-speaking staff lately, but that's not enough to make up for the lack of care and attention the kids are getting.
The foreign teachers just sit around looking unenthused and do nothing except watch the kids. And to make matters worse, they mostly speak broken Russian, not English, which makes it tough for the kids to communicate with them effectively. It's clear that they're not invested in providing quality care, and it shows in the way they interact with the kids.
To top it all off, the price keeps going up. They have the right to raise the rates, but that doesn't mean they can do it without a good reason. When I asked the guy on the phone - who claimed to be the head of the whole operation - what the reason was, he got really aggressive and told me it's because everything's getting more expensive in the country. He wouldn't say what specifically was driving up their costs.
This lack of transparency is just another red flag. It's clear that they're more interested in lining their pockets than providing quality care to the kids. So if you're thinking of enrolling your kid here, be prepared to pay at least 12 times the original price. But don't expect the quality of care to improve by the same amount - in fact, I wouldn't expect it to improve at all.
I'm seriously considering taking my kid out of here. The experience has been a total disappointment, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The whole thing just feels off.
Unsatisfactory living conditions Lack of supervision and attention to detail Ineffective staff Unjustified price increases Lack of transparency
