We stopped at this hotel for just one night while driving from Venice to Modena and then on to Rome.
The reason we chose it was that it wasn't smack in the city center, so we could park our car.
It's about a 15-minute drive from the city center, and on foot, it's around 50 minutes.
A taxi ride from the city center costs around 20 euros one way.
We tried both driving and taking a taxi.
Looking back, it would've been better to stay in the city center.
The hotel itself was really nice - huge room, big dining table, fridge, bed, sofa, and a kitchen.
The bathroom was great too.
They provided dishes, cups, and utensils.
Since we visited in January, the room was a bit chilly.
There was a heater, but the high ceilings made it hard to get the room warm to my liking.
I was a bit cold, to be honest.
But I think it would be perfect in the warmer season.
One of the best things was the free parking.
Checking in was a bit unusual - you just dial the room number.
We had an Italian SIM card, which was only for internet, so we sent a WhatsApp message.
The hotel is made up of separate rooms with kitchens.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
The green, well-maintained territory and clean air were an added bonus.
We had a great time, even though we were only there for a short while.
