A Good Museum, but 4 Stars Only

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently visited this museum with my family for the 'Museums, Parks, Estates' olympiad, and while it had some really interesting exhibits, there were a few things that left us feeling a bit disappointed. The temperature inside was freezing, which made it hard to enjoy. We didn't spend too much time in the museum, but I loved that they gave us a tablet to write on - it made things a lot easier. Overall, it's a good museum, but I'm giving it 4 stars only because of the issues we experienced.

We visited the museum for the "Museums, Parks, Estates" olympiad. The questions were pretty easy, and the exhibits were actually pretty interesting.
We didn't spend too much time in the museum, but I loved that they gave us a tablet to write on - it made things a lot easier.
One thing that caught my eye was the exit from the cloakroom - it's super narrow, so you have to duck to get out.

I've got some major gripes about this museum:
xa0
The "All for People" service is a total pain - the photo booth is right by the entrance, before you even get to the cloakroom. My daughter had to take the photo in her coat and hat, which wasn't ideal.
Another thing that didn't impress me:
The windows in the halls and the cloakroom are tiny, so it's freezing inside - not exactly what you want when you're trying to learn something.
We didn't get the magnet for the olympiad, but at least we could buy some souvenirs to remember our visit.
The exhibits themselves were actually really cool - they made the whole experience worth it, despite all the downsides.
Now, about the location:
The museum isn't too far from the Tret'yakovskaya metro station, which is a definite plus.
