I've been to Kazan three times now, and each time I've been looking for a new spot to hang out. My friends recommended this awesome entertainment spot called 'Fan-24.'
When we finally had some free time, we headed to Fan-24. It's worth noting that you need to pay for entry at the entrance, and when you get your ticket and wristband, make sure you don't lose it – you'll need it to get back in. The prices vary between weekdays and weekends. We went on a Friday night at 10 PM and paid just 150 rubles for entry, which was a great value for the money.
As you enter, a security guard will ask you to show your bag. If you haven't got any food or drinks in there, you're good to go. But if you have, it's best to leave it in your car or the cloakroom. Personally, I'd recommend not bringing bags at all – it's a real pain with all the activities going on, and you won't know where to put your stuff. If you do bring a bag, consider getting a backpack so it doesn't get in the way.
.
Take the elevator up, and you'll be greeted by a massive hall with loads of activities. Some of them cost money, but most of it's included in the entry fee. We were impressed by the build quality and the overall layout of the place.
There are loads of bars to choose from, offering a wide range of drinks and snacks. You can grab something to eat or a hot drink – they've got everything you need. We were happy with the ease of use and the variety of options.
But first, you need to see all the cool stuff and, of course, play and participate in everything. We spent hours exploring the different activities and trying new things.
I really liked the photo wall with these adorable dog statues. It's a great spot for taking fun pictures with your friends.
My friends who came with a big group built this awesome train, and they were really excited to take some cool photos. But when they saw me taking their picture, they got a bit embarrassed, so I didn't bother them and moved on.
I played with some balls for a bit. To be honest, I'm not the best at throwing balls, and I didn't get many points. It got a bit boring after a while, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and the company.
I have to admit, I got stuck on the soft-ride merry-go-round for a while. I rode it a few times in a row. If there's no line, you can just stay on and enjoy the ride until it's over. But if a line forms while you're on the ride and you crash into other people, you might need to get off and wait for your turn again.
.
After the merry-go-round, I headed over to the spacious hall with roller coasters and a segway. The segway was a bit slow, but it was always occupied, so I decided to check out the roller coasters instead. I was impressed by the variety of rides and the ease of use.
After riding the roller coasters, I was feeling a bit tired, so I decided to take a break and catch a 5D movie with my friend. The theater only had 12 seats, so we had to wait in line as soon as we arrived. We were happy with the customer support and the overall experience.
The countdown timer on the screen outside the theater was really convenient. We ended up sitting in the front row, which was essential for the 5D experience. The special effects were amazing, and the whole theater was designed to enhance the experience. We were impressed by the return on investment – it was worth every ruble.
Just outside the theater, there's a shooting gallery where you can fire guns and pistols. I did try it, but I got bored quickly and moved on to find more exciting activities. I was happy with the battery life of my phone – it lasted the whole day.
I'm not a big fan of bowling, but this time I had a great time with my friend. There were plenty of balls available, so we didn't have to wait for anyone to finish their turn. We were impressed by the shipping – everything was well-packaged and delivered on time.
After bowling, we were both tired, so we sat down at the tables nearby and ordered some drinks. The prices were similar to what I'm used to in my city, and the selection of drinks was actually better. We were happy with the overall value for money.
When we were feeling refreshed, we continued our exploration of 'Fan-24.' On the way, we stumbled upon the restrooms, which were conveniently located next to each other for men and women. The facilities were spotless, and I appreciated the music playing inside. We were impressed by the ease of use and the cleanliness.
Finally, we stumbled upon the dance club that our tired feet had been craving. As we approached this amazing cabinet, it took our photo and suddenly we transformed into fashionable singers with creative hairstyles and started dancing. We had to move in sync with the figures on the screen and mimic their every move. Once the dance ended, we saw the points we'd earned on the screen, and it was clear who had copied the moves better.
I got more points, but my friend didn't want to give up, and we transformed again into other dancing girls in colorful dresses and striped tights...
After an hour of dancing, my friend and I were completely exhausted. We'd danced and laughed so much that our legs were killing us, and we collapsed onto the comfortable, soft couches with egg-shaped headrests.
We then moved on to the billiards and air hockey tables. After that, we played various arcade games. Next, we headed to the ping-pong hall, where we also had a great time. I really wanted to try out the laser guns in the dedicated room, but it seemed to be a team-based activity, and we were only two.
We didn't miss the opportunity to ride the mechanical bull, which tried to throw us off, and we felt like real cowboys riding a stubborn mustang.
Later, we went for a spin on the rides and watched a few more 5D movies. We left around dawn, feeling satisfied and content after an amazing time at the 'Fan-24' entertainment club.
To be honest, I couldn't find any downsides – everything was great. If only the bar prices were a bit lower, it would've been even better.
I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Kazan – I'm sure you'll have just as much fun as I did.
