A Gem in Disguise: My 1994 4A FE's Surprising Revival

A Year of Love and Labor
I'm not gonna lie, I bought this car in a pretty rough state – rust everywhere, to be exact. But I saw potential, and with some TLC, I was determined to bring it back to life.
After a year of hard work, I'm thrilled to say it's been a total game changer. The engine's been rebuilt, the transmission's been overhauled, and the body's been restored to its former glory.
Now, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it – there are some downsides. But the good news is that the fuel efficiency is surprisingly great, especially on the highway. I'm talking 6.5 liters per 100 kilometers, which is pretty impressive for a 1994 model.
Of course, there are some parts that are harder to come by these days, but it's not a deal-breaker. And let's be real, it's worth every penny for the joy of driving this beauty.
As much as I love this car, I do think it's time to move on to something a bit more suitable for our crazy winter roads here in Sakhalin. But for now, I'm just enjoying the ride.
