A Game-Changing Course for New Moms: My Honest Review
I'm excited to share my experience with a course that completely transformed my approach to parenting. As a new mom, I was eager to give my baby the best possible start in life, and this course delivered. I want to thank the Novokrinițki family for creating such an amazing resource and our curator for their invaluable support throughout the process.
I've been following the channel since 2015, and I was impressed by the recommendations for future development. When I had my baby, I bought the course for 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12 months. However, the first three months were a challenging time, and I didn't have the energy or time for anything. My baby underwent surgery at 2.5 months, which meant we had to put some of the activities on hold for two months. During that time, I focused on babywearing, putting the baby to bed, care, communication, and tactile contact as much as possible.
Now that my baby is 9.5 months old, we're finishing the 6-9 month course. I'm really enjoying the structured approach, with videos and comments organized into sections. At first, I thought I'd never remember everything, but I gradually watched, did, and learned. I couldn't do it all at once with my baby around, so I had to be patient and flexible. I used the knowledge for daily care, bathing, and wearing the baby. Later, I introduced aqua fitness in the bath from the course, which my baby loved.
As for the massage, LFK, and fitball courses, we'll be doing those soon. I'm looking forward to continuing our progress and seeing the benefits for my baby.
Before each block, we take an assessment questionnaire for the baby and attach a conclusion from the neurologist. After that, only Igor Novokrinițki's lessons and comments open up, telling us what to pay attention to and what to do first. Then we work with the curator.
One of the things that stood out to me was how the program was structured into manageable chunks. We'd work on certain skills for a bit before moving on to the next thing. It wasn't always perfect, but we made progress! By 8.5 months, my baby was doing great with push-ups and crawling on their hands and knees, and it wasn't long before they showed noticeable improvement after our workouts.
At around 4.5 months, our pediatrician didn't pick up on any critical issues, but we did notice that our baby's legs weren't folding up into a 'book' shape, and their feet were straight without any foot-to-thigh contact. They also had trouble moving their legs when on their stomach, and their shoulder blades would tense up when they tried to move their arms.
I found myself laying them on the floor a lot, but they'd start crying and wanting to be picked up, especially when they couldn't quite reach a toy and would try to move it around with their hands. By around 6 months, they started to get the hang of it and would start to crawl, but they still needed a bit of help getting back up. We also spent a lot of time playing on the couch, and they just couldn't get enough of it.
At 6 months, our baby was able to sit up in a 'rusalka' position and would move their arms and legs to get into it, but they still weren't crawling. They'd move around the floor by transferring their weight, but they didn't have the strength to do it on their own just yet. By 7 months, they were starting to crawl, but it was still a bit of a struggle. They'd push off with one leg, but the other would just sort of flail around.
It took them a few weeks, but by the time they were 9.5 months old, they were crawling like a pro and could even stand up at an obstacle. They'd start out a bit wobbly, but they'd quickly get the hang of it. By the time they were 9.5 months old, they were climbing up ladders, walking along obstacles, and even perching on one foot. It was amazing to see how confident they'd become.
It's also clear that their sense of balance and body awareness has really improved. I loved watching them figure out how to group themselves when they fell or rolled over, and they'd often use their arms to help them get back up. Now, they can even do a bit of a flip to land on their feet. I think this is definitely a result of our workouts and the exercises we've been doing.
Thanks to the program and the free resources we got, we were able to avoid buying all sorts of unnecessary gadgets and toys. We didn't have any of the usual stuff like playmats or activity centers, but our baby still managed to have a blast on the hard floor in the hallway. There's just something about the tile that seemed to fascinate them, and they'd spend hours crawling around and exploring.
Let's talk about the benefits of this course for our little ones. Of course, if your child has any issues, it's always best to consult a professional massage therapist and instructor. They'll get the job done, but it's not the same as bonding with your child through baby fitness. I don't know how anyone could handle a stranger doing massage or LFK with our child – it's just a recipe for tears and tantrums. We all know that's not a good idea. As a parent, it's best to do this with your child whenever possible. Just be aware that it requires a lot of effort and time, and if you're not willing to put in the work, then it's not worth buying the course. My husband actually said that he wouldn't have the patience for it, even with our attempts to practice.
Some of our friends and family members raised concerns, saying things like, 'Why put your healthy child through this?' or 'How does he handle it?' They'd never done it themselves, and their kids turned out fine. They'd just strap them to the table and take them out into the field. I don't agree with that approach because, in the first year, your child's brain is growing incredibly fast, and their sensory and motor development, as well as their sense of body awareness and your touch, are all essential building blocks that we can give them. We can't predict the long-term effects of not doing this or not creating a space for our children to develop.
I recently had the opportunity to compare my child with another 9-month-old who didn't do any gymnastics, didn't put them on the floor, and dressed them in shoes and clothes, fed them with a spoon, and didn't let them touch their food. This child would sit, but they'd lose their balance and fall onto their side. They couldn't stay on their stomach for long. Getting up on all fours was a struggle, and their hands were weak. They'd try to move backwards when they stood up. They wouldn't crawl. They couldn't change positions or stand up on their own. And when it was time to walk, they'd be put on their feet and taken for a walk. Yes, the child would eventually learn to walk, but their physical experience and sense of wonder were severely limited. And to top it all off, they had a ton of cute clothes and shoes. So, in my opinion, not creating a space for our children to develop can indeed limit their growth and experience.
That's why I'm convinced that I'm on the right track. I can see the difference in my child. I highly recommend this course because it's all-inclusive and covers everything you need to know. The instructors are always available to answer questions and provide explanations. Plus, all the exercises are physiologically sound and don't require any special preparation. And if you buy it during a sale, you'll even get additional courses on introducing solids, sleep, breastfeeding, and aqua-fitness for your baby.
