Specifications
I got hooked on Tangle Teezer hairbrushes after a friend gifted me one on my birthday. Now, I only use these kinds of hairbrushes. When my old one wore out, I needed a new one ASAP. I settled on the Ultimate Styler for dry hair because it was a great value for money.
I picked up this hairbrush at Golden Apple for 1600 rubles with a discount. It was originally priced at 1850 rubles, which is still a decent price for a high-quality hairbrush.
The hairbrush looks just as stylish as the other Tangle Teezer models, and the packaging is nice too. What really sets it apart is the different lengths of the bristles, which makes it super easy to detangle and gives a nice scalp massage.
Checking out the packaging in different languages
The handle is super comfortable to hold, and it doesn't slip out of your hand even when your hands are wet. Plus, it's really lightweight, making it easy to use on-the-go.
The downsides:
One thing I've noticed is that if your hair is super knotted, this brush can struggle to detangle it. You might need a brush with narrower bristles for that. Also, when your hair is wet, there's a lot of hair that stays on the brush, so I wait until it's completely dry before detangling. To be honest, I'm not blown away by this hairbrush, and I'll probably look for other options next time.
The promises on Golden Apple's website didn't quite live up to my expectations.
I didn't notice any real change in my hair's structure or reduction in frizz, and in colder weather, it even made my hair super frizzy. As for quality, I actually prefer the compact hairbrush, which detangles way better.
The hairbrush is supposed to seal the cuticle of the hair, gently smoothing out strands and eliminating frizz. The result is supposed to be smooth, shiny hair from roots to ends.
