I decided to write a double experience report on the Kefir-Oat Diet because I tried it twice and not just because the diet failed. No, my first diet in 2017 was actually successful. I had reached my desired weight, but unfortunately, I was unable to complete the experience report. After I had my daughter, my body was again in a state similar to that before pregnancy, as I regularly went for walks with her and took care of her. However, I then lost weight again as my son grew older and I had less time to take care of him. About 1.5 years after the birth of my son, I was again at my highest weight. It was a painful moment when I saw that I no longer fit into any of my jeans and I wasn't in the mood to buy new clothes because I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin.
I know that many people will say that all diets are only temporary, but I can only speak about my own experiences. The results of the diet motivate me to continue being cautious with my nutrition because I don't want to lose the progress I've made. After not having my desired weight for about three years, I think it's time to share my experiences with the Kefir-Oat Diet.
I therefore recommend that you read my double experience report on the Kefir-Oat Diet. Two experiences are better than one, and if you're looking for a diet that works, you want to know what to expect.

My Motivation for the Weight Loss Program
xa0
This was my biggest obstacle. I focused on detoxification days, mostly on yogurt-based days, there were days when it went well, but also days when I had to suppress myself. The results were present, but rather meager. My problem was that my stomach was swollen, I ate too large portions, and I had to reduce them. With diets, I managed to do this without any problems, but staying on a diet for a week or two was simply not possible for me.
Motivation Reason 1 was weight loss together with another person. Many thanks to user ink_, who agreed to find a match for me and start the "Diet for Learners" together with me. I also recommend taking a look at his experience report, it would be interesting to see who loses more weight between us two.
Motivation Reason 2 was the experience report itself. As psychologists say, it's important to set goals and speak them out loud to build an inner pressure in one's own mind that makes it impossible to give in, as one would then feel ashamed of breaking one's own promises. For me, the experience report served as a structural mechanism to collect my experiences and not give in, even when it's sometimes embarrassing to write about one's own weaknesses.

I begin with my first experience report, and the latest results will be presented in my next experience report.

My Experience Report on the Kefir-Greece Diet 1

When choosing a new form of nutrition, I looked for a variant that is closest to what I tried in my last casein diet and what I liked best. I consider it very useful because it offers a good nutrient balance. However, I came up with the idea that I might be looking for something else that tastes good and doesn't just consist of carbohydrates. I still remember my first experiences with a protein-based daily ration, which didn't suit me very well. Therefore, I searched for something similar to the casein diet and stumbled upon the very popular oat and yogurt diet by chance.
I must say that I have always been very good at digesting oats - only when they are salty and in the form of oatmeal. I can eat oats with water for several days without any problems. I could even say that I could eat oats several times a day without finding it boring.
About three years before my experience with the Bessol Diet, I was forced by my allergologist to follow a stricter diet. I only ate oats and lemon apples for several weeks, then I added kefir, potatoes, flours, sweets, plant oils, cabbage, onions, and occasionally some cucumber salad to my diet. I focused on these less allergenic products. It took about two months for me to add sugar water back to my diet again, but my main food remained oats, which I ate daily five times because I was always hungry. I lived on this meager diet for about four to five months until my symptoms subsided. I lost a lot of weight and also had very clean skin, which can be considered a positive side effect. I also didn't get tired of oats, as I have been consuming them regularly since then. However, I must say that I got used to the salty oat variant used in this diet. It may seem unpleasant to someone who normally uses a lot of salt.
The basic idea of the Bessol Diet is simple: removing excess fluid from the body. It is even recommended for certain diseases.

INDICATIONS FOR BESOLO DIETS
Bessol diets are recommended for certain diseases and disorders of metabolism:
Osteo-renal inflammation with edemaHeart insufficiency with edemaAscitesMiyokardiosklerose and hypertensionOverweightDisorders of the function of the pancreasAllergic inflammation of the mucous membranes of the eyes and noseChronic inflammation of the mucous membranes of the digestive tractUlcers of the small intestineChronic and acute diseases of the stomach and intestines with increased acid productionAcute joint inflammation of the intestinesBessol diets should only be prescribed by a doctor and the body's reaction to these diets should be monitored through analyses. In addition, bessol diets are only prescribed for a certain (small) period of time.
In some cases, bessol diets are used to achieve a quick effect in weight loss. Well-known types of diets that exclude or limit salt are the Kempner diet, the Japanese bessol diet, the Elena Malysheva diet, the Christina Orbakajte diet, and the Korean diet. Unfortunately, the effect of weight loss is often achieved by removing fluid from the body, which is not always beneficial and safe.
Aside from the indications, as with any medication, there are also

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR BESOLO DIETS
During sports. During physical activity, the body loses up to 30-40 grams of sodium per day. During intense exercise, one should drink mineral water with high sodium content and also eat salty foods.During pregnancy and breastfeeding. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the mother's body consumes large amounts of sodium, and limiting sodium intake can lead to health problems in both the mother and the child. In some cases (kidney or heart problems, severe edema), it is recommended to limit sodium intake, but such restrictions should only be made under medical supervision.During travel to warm countries. If you live in a country with a hot climate or are on vacation in a southern country, you should not follow bessal diets. Even in regions with a moderate climate, you should avoid bessal diets during the warm season and postpone them to the cold season. For people with high physical demands. Bessal diets are not recommended for people with high physical demands.I had no specific restrictions, but as a hypotonic, I sometimes have days when my blood pressure drops and I feel weak. Therefore, I decided to follow this diet carefully. If I feel weak on a particular day, I add 5 grams of salt to the same volume of oatmeal the next day - this is the minimum recommended value, calculated based on the daily sodium norm of the human body. In fact, I have successfully lost weight in the past by consuming salted cucumbers, and I have also gained a kilogram by eating them again.
The first day after I stopped the water diet only occasionally was not exactly enjoyable. I would rather see how it goes with satiety before I completely give up on salt and sugar. So, I took a jar of pickles from the fridge on the last evening before the diet and ate two of them: 'Salt, I'll miss you.'

Basics of the Diet
I chose a version of the diet based on cheese and oatmeal. I informed myself through the experience reports written by other users and also through online entries. If you are not satisfied with the variant I chose, you can certainly create your own diet. Every body is different, and what works for me may not necessarily work for you.
A plus point of this diet is that it is very simple: you don't have to think about what you will eat tomorrow every day. It's more of a diet for people who don't want to invest a lot of time, so it's perfect for me.

I cooked about 250 ml of oats, adding 0.5 liters of water, and then cooked it in my multi-cooker-slow cooker for 5 minutes. After the cooking process was complete, I waited for another 10 minutes. So, I always cooked the oats in this way.
xa0
On this day, I had some hunger, and the oats were not very appetizing. Bääh, if you've never tried unsalted oats, then you shouldn't try them - that's a real catastrophe. I ground each portion for about a minute, but I still ate 2/3 of the oats and the entire yogurt. On this day, I drank 0% yogurt. Not because I wanted to lose weight faster, but because I simply had 0% yogurt.
On the next day, I didn't cook the oats because I thought I still had some leftovers and could cook more oats after work.

The yogurt was 2% strong on this day. The day was somehow tense, and I didn't feel hungry. Therefore, I divided the remaining oats into two portions: one portion I ate during the day, and the other portion I ate in the evening. I drank the yogurt throughout the day, but perhaps 150 g of it I didn't eat - simply because it was no longer possible. Obviously, my stomach had gotten used to the fact that I wouldn't be fed, and it no longer required me to process the entire oat portion at once. On this day, I poured lemon juice over the oats. Well, as I said, it's the same unpleasant oats, only with lemon juice. The taste is simply not good, I would have been better off drinking lemon juice in my tea.
I didn't feel any weakness during the day, only once when I suddenly stood up - temporarily black before my eyes, but that's a rather common phenomenon for me, so I don't associate it with the diet. I will stop consuming salt from the third day.

Since I know my body well, I'm convinced that this was the last day with such a large weight loss. After that, it will be more difficult. My weight loss had a nice plus point - my stomach was smaller than before! But I won't show you the proof - it's a surprise. I'll only present the final result at the end :-P
I was looking forward to it and remeasured all my clothes! Finally, I can wear something tighter again. Unfortunately, my thick hips still fit into old shorts, but I'm sure that will change soon. I'm convinced that I'll reach my goal soon
On the morning, I drank 300 ml of 2% kefir and prepared an oatmeal without salt. This time, I prepared about 300 ml of oatmeal. I'm afraid that this will only last for two days.
I halved the oatmeal during the day, while the other half remained for the next day. During the day, I drank 0% kefir. I didn't feel hungry, but I felt good and energized. I'm very satisfied with my condition!

As I expected, the weight loss slows down in the second week. It can even happen that I experience weight gain, which we've already experienced, but I'm still happy that I at least made some progress. My mother looked at me and asked if I was hungry, as my cheeks and collarbones were so dark. Mothers are like that. My collarbones are still there, but the dark spots don't even disappear with a normal consultation. Although I still feel relatively good and don't notice any weakness, this diet is a stress factor for my body.
I ate oatmeal with water and drank 0% kefir during the day. Since my overall well-being is good, I decided to continue the salt-free diet, as the oatmeal no longer tastes so bad. If you season it with fresh pepper, it even tastes quite good.

Day 5 (12.06.17)
Weight: -
I didn't weigh myself because I had to leave, so I don't know how much weight I lost. Tomorrow I'll see the results for two days.
I drank 300 ml of 0% kefir and about 0.5 liters of 2.5% kefir during the day. I ate oatmeal three times and ate about half of a portion (250 ml).
Finally, my stomach is gone. I decided to go through my summer wardrobe - maybe it's almost summer. Although I still sweat in old pants, my stomach is gone, and I can wear my old clothes again. On the wave of euphoria, I went through the entire summer wardrobe. Come on, summer, I'm almost ready for you.

Today, I decided to continue the salt-free diet as long as it goes smoothly and then add fruit and vegetables to my diet on the eighth day. If my condition changes, I'll start earlier.

Kefir-oat diet 1. Day sixxa0
Today, I drank 300 ml of 2.5% kefir and about a quarter of the cooking water as oatmeal. It wasn't appetizing, but after a while, I felt physically empty, so I just had to eat.
After work, I went to the cinema and had to buy something. I chose a 1.5% Sbiten because I only had a little kefir left. In fact, the Sbiten has a caloric density that is only slightly lower than that of 2.5% kefir. At bedtime, I couldn't resist and ate 5 radishes. Although I felt very good, the monotony of the diet was starting to frustrate me. I looked at some chips and popcorn and felt a strong desire for something tasty. Therefore, I will gradually add vegetables to my diet from tomorrow.

Day seven (14.06.17) - SRYV
Weight: -
I didn't weigh myself because there will be a surprise value tomorrow. I hope it's positive. Based on the volume...
From the menu for the day, there was 0.5 liters of 2.5% kefir and a small bowl of oats, which I divided into two portions. In the evening, however, I was tempted. The hardest part of the diet is not the environment, but one's own temptations. It's so easy to be tempted by the things you prepare and try yourself. I tempted myself by baking bread and not eating it. I was also tempted by the smell of baked cookies and creamy cheese, without eating them. In the end, I couldn't resist. I ate about a quarter of a portion of macaroni with meat and three cookies. It was very embarrassing, as it had never happened to me before, although I know that it happens to many people. The most important thing is not to react to temptation and continue working towards your goal.

Kefir-oat diet 1. The eighth dayxa0
On the morning, I had a severe hunger attack for the first time since the start of the diet. I'm not sure if it's the same for you, but I have these symptoms of overeating: when I eat too much in the evening, I wake up the next morning feeling very hungry. The breakfast was under a cup of coffee, which reduced my hunger and a sip of kefir softened it. At lunchtime, I decided to take a nap - the lack of sleep overcame my hunger, and after lunch, I could only eat about half of the oat mixture - that's about 150 ml. I didn't touch the kefir. I know it wasn't right, but I was simply thirsty.
On the evening, I drank 300 ml of 2.5% kefir and ate four apricots, and then it happened: my stomach started to twist, and it was very painful. I spent the evening in peace. It's not the apricots I ate at the beginning, but probably the reaction to the kefir. I don't understand why, but I think it's due to the product quality.

The weight loss is understandable, but it's more of a result of dehydration. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
I drank about a liter of 0% kefir in one day, but only twice ate a small portion of groats. In the evening, about two hours before bedtime, I took some strawberries from the freezer and drank a tea with lemon and raspberries. The day was not particularly noteworthy, I didn't feel hungry, and I haven't often felt hungry lately, I think the maximum that my stomach can process in one go is 300 ml of kefir.
I didn't feel any weakness. None! My well-being is excellent, and the dark circles under my eyes have disappeared.

Unexpectedly, but I'm glad that my weight loss has resumed. I'm also glad that I'm getting closer to the 4 kg mark, but I didn't think it would happen so quickly and easily. I hope I'll reach this mark in the remaining days.
During the day, I drank 2.5% kefir, about 700 ml, and ate groats twice.
At the last snack, I made a salad from what was green in the house and seasoned it with kefir. Although it would have been sensible in terms of the diet to separate the proteins from the carbohydrates, it might have been better to add oil to the salad.

Here are the results. A bit unexpected, but we continue to lose weight.
Today, I drank 400 g of 2.5% kefir and ate oatmeal twice, and in the evening, I made a salad again. At 11 pm, after a day of cooking (I cooked soup, made oatmeal, fried fish, cooked compote, and made a casserole), I couldn't resist! I had a relapse. Not for long, though - just for four days. I devoured a piece of a cheesecake with apples and raisins. Everything would have been fine if I had made a cheesecake with non-fat cheese and the same apple, but I tempted myself with a cheesecake made with 9% cheese and sugar. Now, there's a brick in my stomach - I've already gotten used to such heavy food. But how delicious it is to eat normal human food!
Okay, there are still three days ahead. I'll try to spend them without relapses. Let's see if the relapse will help me lose more weight. I hope I'll finish the diet with a weight loss of over 4 kg.
