I'm super stoked to share with you a game that's basically the Sims killer.

I really wanted to give it at least four stars, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations.

The Point?

This is a life simulator, and yeah, it's pretty similar to Sims.

But there are some nuances.

Character Creation

This is actually the one area where inZOI surpasses Sims.

Here, you're stuck with one look for all occasions.

Gameplay

It's basically the same as Sims.

This is a life simulator.

inZOI reviewsThe cities are small, and there are areas on the map that exist only in theory.But you can't actually access them – they're still in development.

The main problem with the game is that it's still in early access (!!) after all this time.

inZOI reviewsIt launched on March 27th, and it's still in development.I've got to say, one of the coolest features of inZOI is the Island Getaway option.

However, the main map still needs some serious development.

The problem is that the game is still pretty raw.

And to be honest, there's not much that's unique about the gameplay.

And that's it, nothing more.

The problem with the game is that most of what happens doesn't really have any impact.

When compared to the Sims, at least they made it possible to take your sim to work.

In inZOI, Zoi just leaves for work and comes back a few hours later.

And it's not even like in the second Sims game, where life on the lot doesn't come to a standstill while your sim is at work.

Here, it's just a quick loading screen, and suddenly it's 6 PM.

One plus is that inZOI has an active autosave feature.

inZOI reviewsIn the Sims, you can easily lose all your progress if the game crashes.

GRAPHICS

Apparently, the creators of inZOI are relying on the argument that their graphics are top-notch.

And to be fair, the graphics are pretty good.

inZOI reviewsHowever, there are some minor flaws here and there.inZOI reviewsThe chair is super detailed, but Zoi and her computer are not.inZOI reviewsOverall, the game looks pretty good, though.The city is more developed than in the Sims.

I was really hoping to be able to mess around with them, but nope - you can't even interact with them

THE VERDICT

I'm gonna have to say, I wouldn't recommend inZOI until it's out of early access. It's just not even close to being as good as Sims or a decent competitor. The game is still super raw, even if it does look pretty visually.
