My Experience with SDERU
I'm preparing a massive video expose on YouTube about SDERU, which will feature all the cases, including mine. Hopefully, many people will stop using this courier service after hearing what I have to say.
I want to emphasize that the issue lies with the couriers, not the delivery points.
The events took place in Pskov. I've included the order numbers for SDERU, which seem to think that everything is fabricated: 10073583203, 10082731628.
Let's imagine that you ordered a treadmill, a refrigerator, a TV, or anything heavy through Yandex Market. In most cases, the seller chooses SDERU for delivery.
However, you're at home only after 14:00, but you're calm because you know that SDERU operates until 18:00. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
In my situation, everything happened like this:
Situation 1I ordered a 100x100x100mm corner photo printer, which is quite heavy, long, and inconvenient.
Day 1:
The courier called me at 11:30 am, saying that they would deliver it within 10 minutes. I refused, explaining that I'd be home only after 14:00. The courier replied, 'Okay, we'll deliver it at 14:00.' However, they disappeared. At 17:00, I asked for the courier's phone number from the support team, but the courier intentionally turned off their phone. In the evening, the support team called me, saying that the courier couldn't deliver the order, and they would try again the next day. I was still calm at that point and agreed.
Day 2-4:
No one called me, but the app showed that the order had been handed over to the courier. This is where things started to get really interesting. I can only describe it as a never-ending stream of profanity.
This happened over the weekend, from January 18 to 20.
January 18:
The order was handed over to the courier, and I waited again, with the support team feeding me breakfast, saying that they would deliver it by 18:00. No one delivered it, and no one called me. The support team promised to 'take the delivery under control.'
January 19:
The app still showed that the order had been handed over to the courier. I thought it was pointless to describe it further, as the support team would just give me a scripted response. They provided me with the courier's phone number, but the person who answered was sleepy and said, 'I'm not the one, and it's not my problem. I'm on a day off.'
January 20:
The app still showed that the order had been handed over to the courier until the evening. By the end of the day, the status changed to 'The courier couldn't deliver the order.'
I was furious by this point, as I had to stay home for four days, waiting for the courier instead of going for a walk, shopping, or to the gym. It was hell.
Day 5:
The order was handed over to the courier again. Miraculously, the order was delivered on time. However, the courier arrived at 15:00, looking unhappy because I had allegedly disrupted their schedule.
I think I understand why they were unhappy: they don't work after 14:00, despite their official schedule being until 18:00. This is specific to Pskov.
Situation 2I ordered a treadmill, despite vowing never to use SDERU again. However, Yandex Market sellers are forced to use this courier service.
This is happening right now, with the same situation repeating for the fourth day.
'Order handed over to the courier'
'Courier couldn't deliver the order'
'Order handed over to the courier'
'Courier couldn't deliver the order'
Today, the support team called me at 11:00 am, offering to deliver the order tomorrow because the couriers are 'already on the road.' I lost my temper, as I couldn't understand how this was possible in logistics.
Conclusion
1. Violation of consumer protection laws. Experts can identify the specific article being violated, as they don't work after 14:00, despite their official schedule being until 18:00.
2. The support team is just a bot, responding with a scripted text from a notebook.
3. If you want to stay home for a few days, hoping that the courier will arrive, then use SDERU's services!
I'm confident that there are no issues with SDERU in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but in the regions, it's a different story.
Thank you for your attention.
After analyzing SDERU's comments under negative reviews on this website, I can also conclude that they copy a text from a notebook with apologies, change the name *unknown* to your name, and send the comment. Of course, such apologies are worthless.
Their favorite phrase is 'We'll put your package under control,' but in reality, it means nothing, as the couriers don't care about your control.
