I've gotta say, I've been going to the local Perekrestok store for over 30 years, and it's the closest grocery store to my house - we've even got two of them!
Recently, I got a notification on my phone that I'd won a prize in their lottery. I was skeptical at first, but when I checked the app, I realized I'd actually won a 3000-ruble gift card to Perekrestok!
It took a bit of effort to get the gift card, but I eventually received it via Russian mail - which was surprisingly fast.
The real fun began when I tried to use the gift card to pay for my purchases at Perekrestok. The cashiers had never seen a card like that before and didn't know what to do with it.
