I've been eyeing these moose figurines in stores for ages - they're literally everywhere. When they first started popping up, the price was pretty reasonable, but then their popularity grew and so did the price. I waited for sales and now I've got my very own moose buddy too!

So, Seasons Moose Decorative Christmas Figurine.

Moose Figurine from PerekrestokIt's really beautiful and festive-looking, especially if you don't scrutinize the details too much.

No extra packaging is provided, so when you buy it in-store, it's a bit of a gamble - you don't know how many people might have handled it before you. So, I'd recommend checking it over carefully before buying, and also checking for any defects. I didn't have the chance to do that, since I ordered it online.

Where to buy? Perekrestok store. You can get it both in-store and online, as long as they still have some in stock. I ordered it online because it was cheaper that way.

Price was 599₽ when I bought it, and if you believe the crossed-out price, they were asking almost 2,000₽ for it. That's just ridiculous.

The moose itself is really beautiful and festive-looking - you can't really find anything to complain about.

The moose from Perekrestok is 50 cm tall, it's not super tall, but it's pretty bulky due to its shape. The figurine is heavy because of the cement in its hooves.

Seasons Moose Decorative Christmas FigurineI really liked how the antlers were done - the pictures don't do them justice, but in person, they're really shiny and pretty, especially in the sunlight. The festive hat adds a nice touch. The eyes are defect-free, and it doesn't look like the moose is cross-eyed.

However, there are some quality control issues - I deliberately left the loose threads all over the figurine, and there were plenty of them, but that's not even the main problem.

Decorative Christmas Figurine 'Elk' SeasonsFirst thing I noticed was that the tail was literally hanging off. Not a huge deal, but it was pretty obvious, so I had to sew it back on. I mean, it's not like it's a deal-breaker or anything, but it's just something you'd want to know before buying.

Second thing was that one of the legs was loose, and the fabric was applied all wonky. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it looks like it might've been assembled by a toddler.

Decorative Christmas Figurine 'Elk' SeasonsThe elk stands pretty steadily, but you still have to find the sweet spot to avoid it from toppling over. I'm guessing I got a dud, or maybe someone in the store broke it before I bought it. Either way, it's a bit of a bummer. Just a heads up to be extra careful when choosing one. I mean, it's not like it's a huge issue or anything, but it's just something you'd want to know.

I was pretty annoyed at first, but after a while, I stopped noticing the imperfections. To me, it's still a cute little guy, especially with the festive scarf and all the tiny bells. And that hat is so cool, with a little snowflake on it - it's perfect for creating a festive atmosphere.

Pyaterochka Elk SeasonsThe elk's body is sturdy, but soft to the touch, and nothing's coming out of it. The weight (concrete) is all in the paws, which is why it stands steadily on four legs and doesn't fall over. It's actually pretty impressive, if you ask me.

Pyaterochka decorative figurineIt originally came with a little tag with all the necessary info. I mean, it's not like it's a huge deal or anything, but it's just nice to know that the manufacturer put some thought into it.

I mean, it's not like it's a huge issue or anything, but it's just nice to have something that brings a smile to their face.

Decorative Winter Deer Figurine "Moose" Seasons ReviewsI'm still pretty happy with my purchase, despite the tiny flaws and imperfections. I mean, a little defect or two didn't ruin the magic for me. I'm not sure where this whole moose, deer, and gnome thing came from, but I'm a fan of these kinds of figurines. They're adorable, help create a festive atmosphere, and are just plain cute. Even though I'm way past being a kid, I think they're a great way to get into the holiday spirit – and who knows, maybe someone else will love them just as much as I do!

Winter Deer FigurineFor 600 rubles, the moose from Perekrestok is a great buy – I'd never pay 2,000 rubles for it, though!

I wouldn't give Perekrestok four stars due to the defects and imperfections, but four stars it is, nonetheless.
