I'm reviewing Fairy Pure and Clean lavender and rosemary dish soap today, and I have to admit, I haven't used Fairy in a while. I'm curious to see how it stacks up.

PACKAGING

At first glance, I really liked the packaging - the lavender color is gorgeous, and I'm a total sucker for that kind of thing. But, on my kitchen counter, this bottle might be a bit too flashy for my taste. I usually go for something more minimalist. Plus, the red labels and red cap are pretty eye-catching.

Fairy's Pure & Clean 'Natural Scents' line is a concentrated dish soap with a powerful formula. One of the beautiful natural scents in the collection is lavender and rosemary. This dish soap, thanks to its concentrated formula, completely removes grease and food residue in water of any temperature, leaving a light, pleasant aroma on your dishes.

I'm not really sure why the scent is supposed to stay on the dishes, to be honest. Even in the promises, it says that. Personally, I don't need that. Having coffee in the morning with the scent of the dish soap mixed in? No thanks.

USAGE

The soap is easy to use - the flip-top mechanism is super convenient. Honestly, I open it once, and the bottle stays open after that. It's like it's begging to be used.

Consistency

Texture is gel-like and a bit stretchy - I've never really used a soap like this before, but it's actually kind of cool.Scent is definitely an acquired taste - the rosemary is pretty strong, and the lavender isn't always my cup of tea. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of floral scents, but I can appreciate that it's not overpowering.Color is semi-transparent, which is pretty standard for dish soap.

Effect

Overall, I'd say this dish soap is pretty average. The things that bug me, like the scent and the packaging, are enough to make me not want to buy it again. I'm a big fan of fresh, citrusy scents, or nothing at all. Luckily, the smell doesn't linger on the dishes - I was worried it would be one of those soaps that leaves a lingering scent, but it's not bad.

The soap itself foams up nicely and creates a thick lather, which is always a plus. It's not the most impressive thing I've ever seen, but it gets the job done.
