Specifications
Living with gut issues can be a real challenge - it's a multifaceted problem that requires a comprehensive approach, including a healthy diet, regular detoxes, and plenty of water. Restoring your gut flora is also crucial if you're dealing with digestive problems.
I knew I had to take action to address my gut issues, so I started looking into supplements. That's when my doctor recommended EU-BIKOR for me to try.
proper nutrition Description➤ How I ended up here. Diagnosis:I was eating a pretty unhealthy diet, with no routine and way too much stress. I wasn't drinking enough water, and when I did, it was always on an empty stomach. I was mortified about everything, even the little things like burping, and then I'd be stuck in this vicious cycle of suppressing it all and screaming 'I'm fine!' on the inside.
I was constantly dealing with lower abdominal pain, and the pain would radiate to my sides, lower back, and even my bladder. I was desperate for a solution.
I was eating next to nothing, and even when I did, my stomach would protest with growls and groans. Or, it would just be this constant, annoying rumble like there were rocks inside me.
I was at my wit's end, wondering how I could even help myself.
I went in for an ultrasound, and the results were not pretty. My doctor told me I had some major issues with my gut, including inflamed intestinal loops. They put me on a cleansing diet and prescribed me EU-BIKOR for my Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
➤ What it's for:
EU-BIKOR is a prebiotic supplement that's commonly used to treat:
gut infections;
disbacteriosis of various causes (treatment and prevention);
morning sickness in pregnant women (early stages);
ulcerative colitis;
chronic gastritis;
irritable bowel syndrome;
gallbladder dyskinesia;
pancreatitis;
hepatitis;
cholecystitis;
chronic constipation.
IMPORTANT!
EU-BIKOR is also often prescribed for atopic dermatitis, allergic dermatoses, hypotrophy, obesity, vitamin deficiencies, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes.
symptom treatment Table➤ Contraindications:If you've had a history of sensitivity to the prebiotic's components, active or auxiliary, then this supplement is a hard no for you.
Contraindications➤ Ingredients:Wheat bran, inactivated yeast culture Saccharomyces cerevisiae
I appreciate how they remind you of the ingredients twice - on the box and in the annotation, just in case you forget.
Gut health Eubikor➤ How it works, that's interesting:The stuff like wheat bran isn't digested, it gets broken down into tiny particles in your body.
Wheat bran is a type of dietary fiber that's long-chain polysaccharides and lignin. As prebiotics, it includes: inulin, pectin, mucilage, guar, gums, and hemicellulose; and as water-soluble – cellulose. As for lignin, it's a water-soluble fiber.
As the dietary fiber moves through the digestive system, it gets broken down into smaller particles, which increases the sorption activity of the supplement.
The therapeutic properties of inactivated yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae are due to the ubiquinones, enzymes, vitamins (B, C, A, E), minerals (copper, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium), amino acids (isoleucine, valine, methionine, lysine, phenylalanine) and minerals formed from them.
➤ The packaging looks great:
The cardboard packaging with colorful letters and a picture of wheat and grapes contains sachets - each 3 grams.
They come in different dosages, 30 and 60 sachets. There's also Eubikor for kids, which you can start giving from 3 years old.
Eubikor Eubikor Whoops! - it fell apart)➤ Usage:This supplement is designed for kids from 12 years old.
You can add it to warm food or just swallow the sachet with a small amount of water.
It's recommended to take it 3 times a day during meals.
You can chew it to get a better taste, or just swallow it, tilting your head back. It's not recommended to choke.
Dosage: 1 or 2 sachets per meal (but no more than 3 times a day).
➤ Course of treatment: I followed the treatment plan for 3 to 4 weeks, and then my doctor adjusted the dosage.
➤ Taste:
The taste was kind of like oatmeal or just little grainy bits. Nothing unpleasant, and actually, it was pretty good with oatmeal.
It has a smell of rye bread.
➤ What not to take with:
This isn't mentioned on the packaging or in the description, so I had to look it up.
I was wondering if I should take it with activated charcoal for extra protection. But apparently, charcoal can interfere with the eubikor.
➤ Side effects:
According to the label, eubikor can cause allergic reactions (skin itching, rashes, hives, etc.).
I experienced some allergic reactions, including skin itching on my ankles, neck, and wrists.
It happened towards the end of the treatment, and stopped once I stopped taking eubikor.
➤ Storage and shelf life:
The product should be stored in dry, inaccessible places at a temperature not exceeding +25 °С.
➤ Comprehensive treatment plan:
Along with taking eubikor, my doctor recommended the following diet:
A cleansing salad with raw veggies like cabbage, beets, and carrots.A low-sodium buckwheat porridge once a day.Beetroot, no sugary snacks or tea, and definitely no McDonald's.I didn't want to overburden my body, considering my metabolism was already messed up.
➤ Price: 288 rubles (60 packets)
➤ Manufacturer: The manufacturer is OOO «NPK Bazovy Individualny Kompleks», based in St. Petersburg.
I'm a bit skeptical about the manufacturer, as they're involved in trading building materials and household goods. It's weird, but I guess the main thing is that the product works and has a decent composition.
➤ Results:After a month of treatment, I started feeling better.
I gained the energy to go for long walks, which was a huge improvement from before.
Unfortunately, my skin didn't clear up like I hoped it would.
Did I notice any other changes?
I start my day by drinking two glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. Sorry, I didn't even have time to brew my morning coffee before I was rushing to the bathroom. My digestive system was working overtime, processing and eliminating everything from last night's dinner (laughs) - I'm a bit of a delicate flower when it comes to this stuff, and I'm already blushing just thinking about it.
5. My stomach has definitely shrunk, but the bloating is still there. My doctor showed me how to check - you just give yourself a few little taps on the sides (no need to get too enthusiastic about it) like you're playing a drum. If it sounds hollow, it means you're still constipated.
6. During the treatment, my heartburn disappeared, and the stomach pains stopped.
7. It didn't affect my weight at all. As a girl, I'm always fighting the battle of the bulge, even if it's just a 5kg difference. I read reviews saying that many people experienced weight loss, but it didn't happen for me.
8. The manufacturer promised that I'd see a gradual improvement in my gas, a more stable stool, and even a boost to my immune system. Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration. The gas is still there, my stool is still a bit... interesting, and I didn't notice any improvement in my immune system. I got sick twice during the treatment.
***
I'll keep taking it and seeing how it goes.
Thanks to Eubikor for making my life a bit easier, but let's be real - it's a supplement, not a medication.
It's helped with the stomach cramps and the bloating, so I'll give it 3 out of 5. Eubikor didn't quite fix my digestive issues, the bloating is still there, and my immune system didn't get a boost, but I'm hoping that with time and patience, I'll be back to normal.
Wishing you all the best health - take care of yourselves!
